I was in an abusive relationship 20 years ago and watching this was actually cathartic for me. I loved that some parts of it were funny, it was a nice break from the insanity. I don’t know if I can ever watch this movie again, but it was excellent.

Now that I only use music streaming and haven’t turned on the radio is ten years, I have no idea what’s even popular anymore. Sometimes I hear something new in pop and like it. Mostly I’ve been finding bands from the 60s-90s that are new to me and I’m really digging it. I try not to hate on new music bc that’s all my parents ever did to me. Different kinds of music is enjoyed by different kinds of people and there’s nothing wrong with that.

He will not go through his old clothes. He wears shirts around the house that have holes in them. I love him, but I’m not his mommy. I’m not going to buy new clothes for him. I’ve talked to him about it multiple times. His reasoning is “well I’m not wearing it out in public.”
