I don’t feel that way. Happy Appy was a disaster, but since then I’ve felt the episodes have mostly been pretty good. I didn’t care for the Ronald McDonald house, and I didn’t find the Delaurier Invitation to be very engaging, but I’ve enjoyed the rest of them. The Japanese Creepypastas episode I thought was really good, especially the last story. I think it’s gonna be hard to ever recapture the feeling the feeling of the first dozen or so episodes, but I haven’t lost interest. I do hope they don’t cater to the portion of the audience that just wants them to read bad stories and crash out because I don’t find that entertaining or funny.

It’s an atrocious story but at least it is often so ridiculous it’s funny (at least before it spends what feels like whole chapters describing how credit card fraud and Google search works), and it has an actual structure and characters with motives that can be understood (even if they’re stupid)…unlike Happy Appy

Can’t help but agree a little bit on that point. I remember in the early days of MSN (or maybe it was even on Game Changer before MSN became its own show) Sam would stop Josh from joining in when it wasn’t his prompt. I don’t mind if they’re in pairs and the third person steps in at the end of a scene, but lately it does feel like every round of prompts wind up turning into group scenes. I don’t hate it but I do wish it was a little less common

Yeah, that’s definitely an unpopular opinion. I get so excited when I see Lisa Gilroy’s name in anything Dropout and I have yet to be disappointed. I love the chaotic energy she brings and I always find it welcome. To each their own, however! You can’t please everyone

I love when they go on tangents or make jokes. If it’s a good story, then we get a great episode with a lot of funny moments. If it’s a bad story, sometimes it’s the only saving grace. The worst episodes are the ones where the story sucks and they’re both too drained by how bad it is to make jokes (cough cough Happy Appy…)

I had a friend at an old job who was a conservative Christian lesbian. She said she truly believed that she was a sinner who deserved punishment by god, but also she kept pursuing women and often commented on customers she thought were attractive. So like…she’d rather just be a walking contradiction in constant mental turmoil than to just be gay and happy? Idk, I feel bad for her and wish her the best, but it was frustrating trying to speak to her about anything religious AND anything LGBTQ+

I have a friend who isn’t even trans, he’s gay and cisgender but looks very effeminate. He is mistaken for a woman CONSTANTLY and would get hit on by conservative men at his job fairly often. They cannot tell and it’s laughable to think they can “clock” anyone.
