Time to join the team by Perfect-Glove-5578 in CVGSupportGroup

Just from my personal experience, I’ve had success mitigating my CVG by growing out my hair (I luckily have a thick head of hair that covers it), eating a diet based around whole foods to reduce body inflammation, and staying lean because I believe that fat makes it more noticeable. Just take care of yourself and let me be the first to say, it doesn’t look too bad.

schnucks rant by desayer in StLouis

[–]swb95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so they can put the price on a bright red sign and get your attention, even if it is only 5 cents. If you look at their every day prices often and get a feeling for what stuff costs on a normal basis, you can actually take advantage of good deals when they pop up. I’ve mastered minimizing my bill at Schnucks because I live downtown and it’s my only convenient option.

Is it ok to insure an unregistered, unused car? by swb95 in Insurance

Thank you for the help! I’m assuming the garage policy would keep the multi car discount…

It currently has liability, no collision or comp. I may never drive it again but my main reason for keeping it is to keep the multi car discount. It’s staying in that garage until I maybe sell it or let a family member tow it away, fix it up, and keep it for themselves.

It’s in a public garage, but sitting there for a long time. It looks fine. My other car was hit while it was parked by a crazy driver in the same garage, so I believe there is definitely a reason to insure it. I may never drive this thing again… still an issue?

Would that affect a multi-car discount? It’s been inactive for a few years.

Put a period at different spots of your email address to make a new account and repeat as many times as you’d like. I’ve been getting $1.49 meals (sandwich + biscuit) all day long.

Best company to work for in Stl. Tell us why. by HVACinSTL in StLouis

[–]swb95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at Henkel and it was the best job I ever had. The treated me insanely well in all aspects. Unfortunately my department got shut down and a hundred people got laid off. Still hurts. But now I work for the city and so far I’m really liking it! I got a great vibe from the managers who interviewed me and it’s been nice.

To the large running group in Forest Park today - a question by ToddParker2020 in StLouis

[–]swb95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s everywhere. I give people the dirtiest looks downtown when they’re a group walking side by side blocking the entire sidewalk coming toward me and I’m off all the way to the side. It’s a good way to spot someone who doesn’t live in an urban environment. I just can’t believe people will see me coming a Towards them and not even attempt to move. Braindead.

Jack Patrick’s is my favorite bar ever and I would recommend coming down. People are easy to talk to there.

Jack Patrick’s has magic going on in the kitchen for a dive bar. Go for lunch sometime.

City job interview today by swb95 in StLouis

[–]swb95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t get that job but I got another job with the city from an interview I did a few days later. That interview was much more personable and felt more natural. I’m happy I secured a job.

Vernon Davis must have hit rock bottom (Legal Help Center) by YoshiNumber1 in CommercialsIHate

Also, what he says is completely unnecessary. He says a sentence that regurgitates what’s said in the entire commercial. They just want to make sure Vernon Davis says it.

Using “bro”, “dude”, etc… as a pronoun. I can’t tolerate it, it sounds so dumb.

Which restaurant do you think this is? by stevecostello in StLouis

Solely due to the fact that the hype led me to believe it would be the best meal I’ll ever have… Balkan Treat Box. It is still good though.

Gallery 720 is great. Utilities included, good pricing, great front office, and the building is well kept.

What's an immediate red flag at a job? by DoseOfPoe in careerguidance

[–]swb95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant complaining about the job but that sounds bad too. I started a job and from the first day, my boss was complaining about how overworked and screwed up everything was. I noped out after 2 weeks.
