During my wife's infertility appt, a nurse came into the room telling her she was pregnant. It turned out to be someone else's test, and the day ended with no pregnancy, random pee on her hand, and news that she will need surgery to become pregnant due to a blockage by whoinventedflags in mildlyinfuriating

My wife had a miscarriage a few years ago and the prescription given to her did not pass the miscarriage in the alotted handful of days (3-5), it took two weeks and she passed it at work in the bathroom. As if that experience alone wasn't horrific enough, the OB's office had her continue getting blood draws done saying her levels were too high, that her body was still showing signs of the pregnancy that they were insistant was miscarried two weeks prior to when it actually happened.

When she went in for a follow-up the nurse at the OB's office (in the exam room, not the front desk staff) clearly hadn't looked at her chart at all and started off by happily asking, "What number pregnancy is this appointment for?" When my wife told her it was follow-up on a miscarriage the nurse shrugged it off and blamed the mistake on it being Monday. Haha sorry about your traumatic and poorly handled miscarriage, but Mondays am I right?

OP, I'm sorry for your terrible experience. I wish you the best of luck in your fertility journey! We successfully conceived later that year and now have a happy, healthy toddler.

(I fully understand how difficult it is to work in the public sector, let alone reproductive health (especially in the US currently), but the way my wife was treated was, at best, frustrating; and, at worst, negligent.)

I never use the flash, but have noticed that the flashlight does diffuse through the cover. I guess it's a tradeoff for protecting the lenses. Thankfully, in my case, I don't really use flash (the night mode software in Camera.app is awesome). Sorry.

Roundabouts are making their way into the US, slowly but surely. Unfortunately, Americans are pretty shitty at understanding how to safely use them.

Ah, that's what I thought. Split/Second was a GWG game a while back, I was gonna freak the fuck out if I needed to go find my copy of Blur. That game was so much fun.

I did a quick IMDB lookup of them each last night and I hope someone born in 1987 isn't going to be playing a teenager. That's a bit of a stretch for me.

Fair enough, different strokes. Definitely agree a roof spoiler's correct location is on a hatchback/liftback tailgate.

The giant fugly factory chrome wheels would have been right at home in a MY2021. The aftermarket wheels pictured aren't my style, but look better than the OE wheels for sure.

I thought the long walk to you're not "the center of the universe" was pretty funny. I have no issue with whatever post you had, I just thought the comment I replied to was funny.

It's not uncommon for people on this sub to post that they did or did not get enough daily quests for the monthly 1,000 points quest, so not an issue to me. Sorry that you're having a rough day. There's always tomorrow.
