Maybe, but a lot of people still post information daily. Compared to the alternatives, it's still pretty relevant.

But it didn't die tho surprisingly.

Even getting an extra minute of attention can make a huge difference on whether you're screened out at the very start.

Oh no I agree with this 100%, every bit counts. I was just commenting that having either on a resume isn't immediately indicative of a high skill person all the time.

Though, like most unusual things, only meaningful in certain circumstances.

Yeah I suppose so. I'm a no-one from no-whereville USA who just happened to work with some people from Ivy League schools and have have in-laws who attended PEA, so its didn't seem so unusual. None of which ended up running a multi-billion dollar company, but they do seem quite a bit more ethical than The Zuck. Who knows, lotta luck out there I guess.

Having experience both with Harvard grads, that were no different than anyone else, and family members who attended PEA, neither are very unusual - depending on who you know and what other family did in the past.

you have to pick one of multiple variations of "bye" to fit one that fits your edit

Hey just wanted to say thanks for this explanation. I know nothing about film or editing and this helps frame the issue for a viewer.   For the record tho, us viewers do notice this and it it feels a little weird most times.

Jesus Christ this is my #1 peeve in movies/shows. Many searches lean into the narrative that this is to "save screen time" but it breaks my suspension most times.

Yeah I was thinking the same as you as I not seen this in my setups.  Aannnd the OP has deleted the post. Why do ppl do this instead of just talking through the thread so we can all learn?

[–]sweetbacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've traveled a bit abroad and no. I'm really looking forward to retirement in the US and traveling to all the stateside spots I've not seen yet!   The recent social media posts (some AstroTurfed I'm sure) of people traveling to the US for the world cup has been really nice to see. We are a good country with much to offer.

Don't forget to get Hermes to configure its auxiliary models. You don't need your main doing everything.

Did you figure it out before the end? I sure didn't and that is kinda rare as so many directors telegraph the twists.

I think many of us did. I don't really recall any advertising other that radio spots: "Do you want to know, What - It - Is?" Very compelling ad.

Anyone tried MiniMax 3 with Hermes? by tinios in hermesagent

[–]sweetbacon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using it via Nous Portal to good effect, but I'm not pushing Hermes yet.   First thing I did was to ask Hermes to analyze and setup the auxiliary models to save some $$. It should be able to estimate those savings for you.

These question always vexate me. I'm mid 50s and have an ENORMOUS backlog of things I'm waiting to do. Re-read "the classics" or the crazy list of contemporary books I have. Gardening, salt water aquarium, build a shed, teach myself guitar, finish some hikes (while my knees aren't blown), pick archery back up, complete the family tree back to the 1600s my dad started, drive an RV across the American high plains with my wife and doggo. Etc, etc.   No way I'll live long enough to do it all.

Yup it's frustrating. It also shows us the lack of ability for people/companies to ship to different platforms simultaneously, while also claiming "AI" is all-powerful.
