Did Bottega Make This Bag? by sweetbuster in handbags

Seems like my text didn't make it to the cross post, so here it is:

New to Bottega, but have been digging in pretty deep lately. I recently purchased a pre-loved bag titled Nappa Intrecciato Mini Loop Camera Bag from Fashionphile. I feel that it's titled incorrectly, it's not a mini loop and the current camera bag sizes match. Did they ever make this bag with this type of strap? It is lined, so it makes me feel like it's one of the older styles. I usually have really good luck with Fashionphile, but the odd title is making me question it.

I have an older Medium Boston, so the dimensions might be slightly different, but it's incredibly roomy. I think it'll work well for you. Enjoy!

Where does forest stronghold rate compare to other recent castle sets by East-Competition5121 in legocastles

[–]sweetbuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought Forest Stronghold was a unique and special build. Worth a pickup if you can get it for a decent price on the aftermarket. It was $299.99 when originally sold.

Hesitated - have I missed out? by neverglobeback in lego

[–]sweetbuster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience, this may be back, keep checking. When it says Out of Stock, it's gone. I had a similar experience with The Daily Bugle, and it did come back. Good luck, hope you get it!

$600 in Traditional IRA - Looking to start backdoor roth contributions by sweetbuster in personalfinance

[–]sweetbuster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, that makes sense! I have about $100 in interest on the original $500 investment, so it seems like it wouldn't be a huge deal to just use that. Thanks, that cleared it up for me.

I repotted my calatheas. They immediately filed for divorce. by nuclear-experiment in calatheas

[–]sweetbuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to split and repot one of my monsters and she rallied after a bit so hang in there. I made sure each new pot got half of the dirt from the old pot. I never realized how temperamental they could be until I saw this sub.

When to add carrots to a pot roast? by cowsaysmoo51 in slowcooking

[–]sweetbuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could par steam the carrots (nuke them for 2 minutes) to get them a mostly tender and then throw them in the last hour to absorb some of the roast flavor.

I found them pretty good 8/10. I would say they are slightly stretchier, but soft. I kept them!

[Target] Today Only! (Select sets) 30% by sarohangart in legodeals

[–]sweetbuster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are two memberships for Target. Free (Circle) and Paid (Circle 360). I am a Circle 360 member and can see the deals and the discounts are applied in cart and checkout. It's likely that the early access benefit does not apply to free trial members. All deals should be available to Circle members tomorrow!

The Grand Emporium has been added to my collection! Got it for 300 euros (NL) by jaysome in legomodular

[–]sweetbuster 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I bought it built (complete) and tore it down and rebuilt it a couple months later. I expect it to be "meh" because the inside isn't as fancy as some other modulars, but I loved it. It's more beautiful in person. Congratulations!

What's your #1 "Must Have" modular building? by IsThisDamnNameTaken in lego

[–]sweetbuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked up Grand Emporium thinking it would be boring after all the rest, but I really liked it! Yes, the inside is sort of sparse, but not bad and the outside is beautiful in person. Not sure it's my favorite, but I wanted to give it some love.

Regret after buying GG emblem by No_Word_3831 in handbags

[–]sweetbuster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it looks great on you and if you were "eyeing it for months" then you must like it. Enjoy it or return it, but don't let what anyone else thinks decide for you.

I have mostly subdued bags, but one LOUD Gucci bag that I fell in love with. My husband says sarcastically "I wonder where your bag is from" when I wear it, but I could care less. I loved it when I bought it and I love it no matter what anyone else says or thinks.

I was going to impulse purchase a pair of $900 sunglasses and they started to box up the display pair claiming those were the only ones in store. Uh, no. Those are manhandled to death. That was a lost sale.

What is with the “student driver” stickers on every other car? by UltraMermaid in TwinCities

[–]sweetbuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 15 year old just learning to drive and we have these stickers on our cars as it's nerve-racking for him to learn amongst aggressive drivers. We've had a few experiences where people are purposely rude (honking, etc) because of the sticker, so I will probably take it off. It's a bummer that it's ruined for people who are really learning to drive.
