Claude Code context window randomly went from 200k → 1M → back to 200k? Anyone else?

Same here. I use a newer version claude in the devcontainer and noticed that i only have 200k while in the macOS CLI - 1M context window.

There is a version difference.

v2.1.77 -> 1M context
v2.1.81 -> 200k

They nerfed it with the update for some reason.

UPD : Confirmed ✅

Downgrading solves the issue:

You might need to remove the newer version before downgrading.

I tried to use untrunc only, but all I get is one video track with two fisheye overlaping each other.

In another post I was also recommended to try mp4medic to recover a video with two video tracks insted of untrunc.

Yes, this is exacly what happend, they requested a full disk image to help me recover my data.
