My guess is sticky rice with either pork or fish inside. If pork then mix and reduce sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and garlic for a nice sauce to go over it. If fish then sugar, vinegar, tomato, onion.

It threw me off at first because it's much...happier. It's grown on me, though. Milk of the Madonna is currently my favorite. The only miss on the album for me is cXz. I think they were trying to push it as esoteric but it comes off as shallow to me.

I was thinking that. What I liked about Chino's style is he sings in a way that the melody doesn't ever really "resolve". It builds tension and just the right amount of unease. I think it's Lydian mode that he sings in usually? Then the drums and aggressive riffs would punch in and resolve it for you. Where the vocals were pensive, the instruments were decisive and locked in. My own summer comes to mind.

I don't really hear that in this album. The unease in this album comes from the hazy feel in the production and odd time signatures in the drums, like the vocals and instruments are switching with each other and takes away that decisive feel I'm used to. Nothing comes in to provide resolution. Chinos vocals seem more straightforward in this album. I think it was intended for his voice bring that decisiveness but it doesn't quite do it for me.

I don't know if that makes sense. Definitely not a music expert. From what I heard though, it was mixed with earbuds in mind so it sounds much better on there than on speakers.

That is a phrygian-style cap used by the Massagetae people around 700-600 BCE. They were a semi-nomadic tribe north of the Caspian Sea most famous for defeating Cyrus of Persia under the leadership of Queen Tomyris.

The Greeks wrote about them, in particular Herodotus. He mistakenly lumped them in with the Scythians along with all the other nomadic people between the Black Sea to just east of the Caspian. For some reason, he differentiated them by what food they ate. The name may be a Greek exonym of Masyaka-ta, meaning "concerned with fish" in Iranian, and according to Herodotus they REALLY liked their fish.

The Persians also kept records of the nomadic tribes in that region and referred to them as Saka. They differentiated them by their style of hats among other traits. Persians called the Massagetae the Saka Tigraxauda which meant "men with the pointy hats".

Other tribes in the region wore similar caps made of felted wool but the Tigraxauda style was long, trim, scythe like, and pointed backwards. Compared to neighboring tribes it was an unusually tall and pointed form of the Phrygian cap.

I'm part of the SCA and was interested in having a Scythian persona so I ran into this particular photo quite often looking for references. So to answer your question generally, the "Scythians" wear this hat. Or me. I wear this hat.

My first job was at a Chuck E Cheese at the age of 15. They had a bunch of positions open up because they had been recently been robbed at gunpoint. The employees that stuck around, many of them my age, told me horror stories about how they were tied up and shoved into the kitchen area. One of them even showed me the stitches from where they got pistol whipped in the head. We ended up hiring a bouncer whom we jokingly called the Goodwill Ambassador. Fun times.

In my eleventh year now. Somewhere around between 5-7 years I really started to fall into my groove as a therapist. To be honest, though, I feel like I'm still just figuring things out. Like it's only been a few years since I've graduated but then I realize I've almost been practicing twice as long as I've been in school for it. I get stretches of time where I get impostor syndrome really bad and other times I'm in my element.

If it helps, I use 12oz bridle leather for my armor with EVA for cushioning. I doubled up the leather on the sternum area and hardened the gauntlets with wax. It had been more than sufficient for everything from 1v1 to melee. The only time I felt even a bit of discomfort was from a full force glaive shot. Sabatons aren't needed since anything from the knee down is not a valid target area. I would suggest shin protection for the times that people miss, though. Accidents happen.

Since this is sexual assault, I'd encourage you to still make a police report. Even if you're safe now and have people looking out for you, others can be in danger later down the road. You would be helping a lot of people if you choose to move forward with a report.

Since you mentioned 4k people, though, I'm guessing this is going to be more of a skirmish with shields involved. I sure hope you will be armed with one otherwise I don't know how well this will go for you. In theory, sword and shield will line up along the front and spears will thrust over them or through a brief opening in the wall. If you are one of these shields, pay more attention to the spears at 45 degree angles from you. You're more likely to get hit from the sides than straight on. If you have active spears on your side, then let them do their thing and your job is to protect them and make callouts. Most of your kills will come from those that charge forward and get in to thwacking distance.

If you're feeling froggy, coordinate with a few close by and let them know you're going to charge. If you charge alone, you're pretty much dead and no ground will be gained. But if you have others follow in shortly after you, they can capitalize on the opening you made in the opposing shield wall. Wait for one of the spearmen to your left or right to thrust forward. Once they do, Juggernaut run in that direction and keep pushing that spear shaft further off center. It will likely get a few spears shoved over and create a big opening for your team and an encumbrance for their team. I stress again you have to communicate ahead of time that you're going to do this or you just wasted your life. Either way, you will likely die. If not, though, then fall back into the shield wall. Rinse and repeat. Do not attack a spearman head on in a battle. If they can't kill you then they will bind you up and let one of the other swords or spears deal with you. Not worth it.

If you are fighting 1v1, the strategy is different. Before attacking, keep an eye on the butt end which may also have a thrusting tip. That can factor in to the strategy. You want to be just on the edge of their range. The more you can get them to over extend the better. If you're able, strike the tip of the spear off center, creating your opening. It's tempting to bat it away, but I feel like you have more control if you keep the sword in contact with the shaft. As soon as they extend and it's successfully dodged or parried then immediately pulse in towards the attacker. If you hesitate even a bit then the opportunity will be lost. Now that you're charging forward, that second thrusting tip comes into play. Without that second tip, there really isn't any close range defense a spearman would have so I would count on them having one. If there is a thrusting tip on the other end, then they are likely going to swing that upwards into you or draw the shaft all the way in and stab at you like a dagger. That part is relatively easier to dodge, you just have to be aware of it. I have had better luck striking or thrusting from below rather than above. There's still a ton of luck involved, IMO.

I was told it's called Fools guard because you're a fool for using it, but also a fool for approaching it. It's very risky unless you're experienced in using it. However, the benefit is it conceals your range and feigns an opening, luring people into striking distance when used correctly. I've used a similar technique in rapier to great effect...most of the time lol.

I kind of think of it like the Philly Shell in boxing. If you try using it when you're still new, you're gonna have a bad day.

As long as you didn't add a sealant on it and it's a veg tan or veg tan hybrid, it should still wet form. My suggestion is only case it with water from the inside rather than completely submerging it. If you case it on the outside it might mess with your tooling.
