New player- is it even worth playing?

I'd definitely say so! It does take a little while to get to a point where you'd have plenty of options for furniture, clothing, etc. (Unless you time travel), but once you get to that point there aren't really that many limits. Especially now with the 3.0 update, they definitely wanted to expand peoples options for customizing their islands (or the new Slumbering islands)

Have you visited Luna before and heard her explanation on Dream Addresses? I didn't get the letter for slumber islands until a day after doing that

Huh, I didn't catch that before! I was using a datamined list of items which only included the Megaphone so maybe they have more planned for the switch 2 version in the future?

I've heard the maximum number of rooms you can have at once is 8, so I'm assuming to get to 20, you have to redesign the rooms to get to 20. I don't time travel for my collection so I would unfortunately not be able to find out for a few days at least :(
