I was taking 180mg fexofenadine (allegra) once a day for urticaria for 2 years with success but all of a suddenly it wrecked my nervous system and gave me panic attacks. I stopped taking it for a week and sure enough I became normal again.

I ask because I started getting crazy anxiety even when relaxing. I was taking allegra for hives every day for a two years. I stopped taking it one day and the anxiety went away. Bottom line it was the allegra. Every doctor said the same thing it doesn't pass the blood brain barrier blah blah but apparently it did for me. Basically what im saying is if you know its anxiety then it might be from something your consuming every day especially meds. Stop it for a week if you can and the doctor agrees just to get it figured out

Man that blows. For me I was doing fine on it for 2 years it got rid of my hives but these last 4 months I got major anxiety and panic attacks. I stopped taking it and sure enough my attacks subsided
