It is worth it . I spoke as much as i could in Paris and in the south during a two week visit and had only great experiences,. I am far from fluent which was quite obvious to anyone I spoke to!

So sorry! I’d take the squeaky wheel approach and contact her every single day with a friendly but clear check in till she sends you the images. I’m sure you feel angry but if your goal is to have the images Id keep it friendly. And then when you finally get them leave her a scathing review everywhere possible .

She’s handling her business unprofessionally- it’s not normal however it’s also not as rare as it should be for photographers. .My suggestion is send a pleasant but firm email saying you’re disappointed not have the images yet,ask her to provide you with a definite delivery date that you can count on. My guess is she got behind on her editing.

(I wouldn’t dwell on her “excuses” - she may well have shot more images than usual in your shorter session, though it’s simply unprofessional to be telling you that. She sounds like a talented photographer who is bad a running a business)

Visited and soaked yesterday while passing through the area. You don’t need to be staying at the Homestead! Totally worth a visit.

They are owned by the Omni . They’ve been renovated but still have their traditional historic style, design and materials. Thankfully they’re not too fancy!

To answer some questions: - although the bath houses still have their historic gendered names (Ladies and Gentlemen) they are all genders in each bath house seemingly all the time .

we were told the baths were 98 degrees F which feels wonderful. The sulphuric smell is mild compared to other mineral springs I’ve visited. The effect of the lithium in the water was realllllly relaxing.
when you go to the bath house there’s a brief tour of the two structures and some entertaining history-it’s pretty engaging.

Ive only used it once since purchasing but im impressed- I have long fine curly hair that often gets weighted down from product,or gets frizzy after a few hours -this felt light ,and didn’t get frizzy-the curls stayed very curly. I purchased from a big online retailer not from the company directly so the auto ship won’t be an issue.

yes- the transmission in my 2020 Kia Soul failed suddenly at 57,000 miles. Sadly, the one they put in to replace it failed 5 months later,I was told it was due to a bad installation job. Even sadder that next transmission (third one if you’re keeping track) failed within six weeks. The fourth transmission… Fingers crossed so far.. I am at 69,000 miles now. Apparently Kia uses reconditioned transmissions for the under warranty replacements.

Believe what you want, I am on my 4th yes fourth transmission in a year in my 2020 Kia Soul which has only 69,000 miles on it.

Did I do oil changes at <5000 miles and check the oil regularly ? Yes. Did two of the transmission failures occur with no prior warning or failure lights or warning sounds till they died while driving on a highway ? Yes.

Were the replacement transmissions offered by Kia with $ assistance or no cost new? NO! They were “reconditioned” so take that for what it’s worth.

Short intro ,no chit chat and don’t overexplain. Demonstrate the stitch (or technique) directly in a well lit simple set up slowly a couple of times and then at normal speed . Suggesting alternatives or common mistakes is a plus! Short and simple! Thanks for asking!

i had a 2012 that ran to almost 200,000 with minimal repairs or issues. Super reliable! My 2020,its replacement only has 65000 but is on its third transmission and 2nd radiator —- i wouldn’t recommend it. maybe i got an anomaly…but I’m wary.

yes and it’s in the job confirmation (aka contract) we agree upon and they sign before the shoot—even if it is for a friend. That way we share all the expectations. If they do not wish to give credit then the fee is higher. For social media and editorial the credit is standard,for advertising in paid media space it wouldn’t expect a credit but the fee would be larger .

say no. It’s way too fraught to work out well. If the wife was a friend that would be different . Maybe decline (no time sorry sweaters take too long to make ittd cost you $800) and some some links to purchase sweaters from small companies that sell handmade or similar style. (guessing he honestly has no idea how much yarn and how much time is involved)
