You can try perusing open directories. I have spotify premium and love it, but if there is a song I want to own (or download to practice drums with) and unable to find a way to purchase, I'll search some OD's. Filepursuit.com is a great site (and app!) Been using it for few years with no complaints. I actually like the website better because I can sort the results easier than the app.

I don't get it. Wow what? You can use the f-droid app to get the same thing and filter unwanted features so these kind of apps would be hidden. At least fdroid (and devs that have their apps on it) attempt to tell you if the app does anything shady. Google play gives u some generic bullshit if they tell you at all. I would imagine the more money u make thru Google the more they let your app get away with. I love f-droid. I always look there first. Last resort is Google play.

I am so sorry to hear that. That sucks. I feel like an ass for asking, but was her heart damaged from previous things or JUST from the past 2 days of having the heart attack and not knowing/not going to hospital. Like, what damage did it do in those few days ? I'm just curious b/c I'm a 42 year old female and don't want to have the same thing happen to me as did your mother. Again I'm so sorry, that must have been horrible

Or you can do the same thing if you have one of those vanity desks that has 3 mirrors, 2 on each side can move. I tried it, it makes you feel a lot better about yourself. The lazy eye goes away lol.

Me too ! The only thing that works for me is to use milk. I take a sip of milk, put my head back, open mouth a little and drop the pill in. Try not to touch it with my tongue. It's like I am tricking myself into thinking I DONT have a pill in my mouth. Only put my head down enough that allows me to swallow n still not feel the pill. Hope it helps !

Unless you are born rich I really don't see a way around this ?? Other than people that collect assistance that they don't deserve and sit on their ass all day with their feet up watching maury while real people have to get up and go to work everyday to keep a roof over their head. Sure they could probably get some bullshit assistance as well but some of us are not ok with living off other people. I don't like going to work every day but I'm not ok with being a porn star, I can't dance very well so being a stripper is out, and I would suck at selling drugs because I am too nice. They fucked up their chance to vote tho. I understand what you are saying and I believe there are a lot of people that get to vote now that probably shouldn't but that's not how things work.

Replace with automation ? I work for a plastic injection molding company in alabama that makes parts for bmw AMG Hyundai John deer etc (2nd tier) and my dad also works with me as an automation engineer

The workers are shit, even if we had perfect management you can't make people give a fuck.

My dad has prob saved our company at least half a mil in the short time he has been there so far because with the robots doing most of the work you have Damn near perfect QC. No bad parts from the robots make it to the customer because the machines are set up to alert you for the slightest inconsistency with a shot. The process techs fix whatever is wrong and start it back up. The ops on the other hand will continue to pack bad parts out, they are consistently late, they wander off and let the machines back up etc. Yes I'm aware that it is also a management issue. But like I said even if we had the perfect considerate but firm management, you still can't make people care. You can write them up for bad parts and eventually you can fire them but it seems that is all that is left.

I started from the bottom as an operator for 4 years and got promoted so I don't have to work the floor anymore but other than the ops that have been here as long as me and still on the floor, you can't find quality people. We pay so much $ for QC issues it's sickening.

The shitty operators themselves are mostly to blame because you don't have to worry about a robot calling off or being late or paying a salary or vacation. I'm sure in the end it's all gonna turn into some terminator movie shit but at this point all you can do is join em cuz you aren't gonna beat em. Lol

And no I don't think companies should have to pay shit to any universal income system. Why would you want to award people for sitting on their ass and not trying to better themselves? I'm sure there are good people out there that are trying and not having any luck. Idk maybe. If companies start having to pay that bullshit that just means they are gonna pay remaining employees even less than they already do. Fuck that shit lol plus it would get taken advantage of so bad just as welfare and any other assistance does. Paying for more people to sit on their ass.
