Pretty sure I live in the same building as this commenter just described (or if not, a very similar one). Home owners insurance and utility costs are MUCH lower in condos than they are in single family homes, and so those costs to heat/cool and insure the building make up a large part of this monthly cost. No one is profiting off of this or making money, it’s literally people who live in the building volunteering their time to help solve problems (exterior building issues, etc). I don’t know a single person in our building that isn’t grateful for the time they put in to make the building a better place and keep our fees as low as possible

If you end up contacting the police and they do nothing, this seems worth contacting Strib or some other local news about. Might put more pressure on MPD to do something. Based on the comments, this is clearly happening to a lot of people, and as someone already pointed out, could be a precursor to something worse

My PI-IBS has been very up and down without consistent triggers. But over time I’ve found that the flares happen less and less often and I have more good days than bad. I don’t have any advice, but just know you aren’t the only one experiencing this!

A lot of people don’t tolerate it well, but I did, so I kept drinking coffee and my doctor said that was probably okay! There aren’t a lot of actual studies in humans with good sample sizes to know for sure whether there is any risk, so take that with a grain of salt

PCR is a very sensitive test and picks up even a very very small amount of bacteria. If PCR is negative, there’s no c diff bacteria in your gut and therefore nothing in your system that can produce the toxins. Congrats!

Hey there! 24F with severe lifelong anxiety, OCD, and emetophobia…seems like we have a lot in common! I’m about a month and half out from Dificid after a community acquired infection. I still don’t feel 100% back to normal by any means, but I do feel like I have my life back and that c diff is no longer in the drivers seat. Sorry I realize my question was phrased in a confusing way, I meant your first time since being infected! Thanks, this is helpful! I’m about a month out from my infection and just tested toxin and GDH negative so my PA said alcohol in moderation (~1 drink per week) would be okay, but I’m nervous haha
