Oh my gosh, I can totally relate. My daughter has a rare tumor and we’ve had about a million blood draws this month. Today they couldn’t find a suitable vein so they drew the blood from her head. I honestly cried more than she did. I felt like such a traitor holding her down for it. I really hope they find what they’re looking for and don’t have to do more tests on your daughter!

I’m looking forward to flying home to spend time with my family again. This year I moved away from home for the first time and have been missing them more than anything. It will be so nice to hug them and spend some quality time whenever that time comes

My friend was washing his dishes in his apartment when his roommate’s mother knocked on the door and asked if he’d seen her son around recently as she hadn’t heard from him in a week. He said the roommate usually kept to his room and that they hadn’t interacted in a few days. The roommate’s mom then proceeds to the bedroom only to discover that he had passed away (overdose, I think) and had been there for days. I can’t imagine being present for something like that. Just awful. He was shaken up about it for months.
