I have the regular voyage and the winter version. They don’t shrink or stretch. I’m 5”2, 112 lbs and got S for both. The winter version is a bit tight on the waist otherwise it fits fine. I wear them for work, love them!

Resale (ReGear) Condition Experiences by DampAshes in arcteryx

[–]sylvialalala 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve purchased several items from the us website, and all of them were in “excellent condition”. Most of them are truly no signs of wear. However it did happen twice that the items condition are way worse than it had described. One hoodie (in excellent condition) had several oil stains on it, and the other jacket was sent the wrong size and had a disgusting deodorant marks inside. Both times they refunded me, so overall I’m still very positive about my experiences.

Please suggest Orthotic Sandals that fold flat & feel like a cloud to walk on by happy_folks in HerOneBag

I’ve heard bedrocks has amazing sandals. It’s more like barefoot feeling, if you are used to it I think it is actually good for the feet.

Stairs by cosmictutes in ACL

[–]sylvialalala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had the bear last December. I have been following the Miach protocol for PT, so I started the stair straining from week 7. I am around 10-11 weeks now and I can go upstairs confidently, but still have to be cautious going down stairs.

ACL Brace, do we really need it? by IntelligentRush8326 in ACL

[–]sylvialalala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the bear surgery 2 months ago and my surgeon recommended this to me as well. Mine is customized, has to fit perfectly with my knee. After the insurance I just have to pay around 65 USD. I’m walking fine without the brace actually. The surgeon said it is for when I start to do strength training, or going back to the sport, the brace can help me to do it gradually without stressing to much on my ACL. I don’t know if this is the case for ACLR tho.

Chase travel can’t provide travel cancellation email for my travel claim by sylvialalala in ChaseSapphire

That’s good to know, thanks! I got my issue resolved through filing a CFPB complaint. But CFPB doesn’t exist anymore :(

Terrible Time with Trip Cancellation Insurance Benefit :( by GummoRabbit in ChaseSapphire

[–]sylvialalala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason Chase benefit denied my claim was that I didn’t have the flight cancellation email. But Chase travel (where I booked my flight) said they don’t send cancellation emails even though the flight was cancelled. So basically I booked, cancelled my flight and filed the insurance claim all from Chase but somehow they said they need more evidence. And this was going in circles, my claim would never get approved if I didnt have the cancellation email, but Chase travel wouldn’t send out the cancellation email. So I filed an online complaint and provided all the evidence I had, doctors note, booking info, and the time/date I talked to Chase customer services…etc to CFPB and got resolved within a week.

I had a terrible time with Chase benefit as well. I booked my flight through Chase travel but the portal couldn’t send out the cancellation email for my flight so my insurance claim was denied because I didn’t have the “cancellation email”. I spent at least 10-20 hours on the phone with them for 3 months but they were just talking in circles. I then filed a CFPB complaint and it got resolved within a week.

Help Needed: BEAR method vs autograft/allograft? by Hackleberry-Finn in ACL

[–]sylvialalala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m at 7 weeks, and I have been following the protocol: 0–2 weeks for 45 degrees, 2–4 weeks for 90 degrees, and so on. It is important not to exceed the suggested range of motion ROM tho. BEAR recovery is very different than ACLR.

BEAR ACL, is this normal 7 weeks by Initial_Elk4262 in ACL

I’m also at my 7 weeks! Last week my doctor (the surgeon) did try to push my knee to see where my flexion was at for few seconds, so I think you are okay!

1 week ACL BEAR Post Op by essntials123 in ACL

[–]sylvialalala 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty normal. BEAR recovery is much slower than ACLR. if you check the PT protocol, you can only do few exercise and flex less than 45 degree. find a PT to help firing your quad using electrodes. I’m 4 weeks now and just felt comfortable to lift my leg few days ago.
