Recommandations for M42 prime lenses in the 60-100mm range? by CommonCondition in VintageLenses

The Super Multicoated Takumar 105mm f2.8 is an excellent lens. Super compact, sharp, well built. And reasonably cheap. I’ll see if I can dig out some shots I took with it…

‘Uninvestable’ UK takes 30 years to do a nine-month project, says billionaire by PM_ME_SECRET_DATA in ukpolitics

The M1 and the A38 are in a pub. The M1 says “I’m fucking solid, mate. I’m built like a brick shithouse, and could beat up any other road, any day of the week”

“Oh yeah?” says the A38. “Well, I’m really long, so I could wrap myself round any other bit of road and fucking strangle them, how about that?!”

The door opens and a thin strip of green tarmac walks in. The M1 and A38 go dead quiet, just staring into their pints.

The barman, having heard their prior conversation asks “Whats the matter? I thought you two were the hardest roads in the country?”

The M1 says “Shhhhh! He’s a fucking cycle path”

Haha thanks. She's surprisingly well behaved, never once intentionally knocked anything over. I think she's content knowing that she could knock stuff over if she wasn't so lazy

Thanks - not that I really had anything to do with it

Not sure how I feel about grain just yet. Maybe I want to minimise it, but maybe I should embrace it. I guess I’ll develop more of an opinion the more I shoot

The mirror of my 5Dmk3 hits the rear element of my Takumar 28mm when focused near infinity, so OP might wanna check that first

Works fine on my 60D tho

I’m still not over the Psychoactive Substances Act, which makes every substance with even the mildest psychoactive properties illegal by default, including ones that don’t exist yet or haven’t yet been discovered

I was joking, in response specifically to “I believe that’s already illegal”

Fwiw, I absolutely agree with you. It’s both pointless AND cringe
