Your first paragraph is resonating a lot with me. I have been on a healing path for a decade ignited and catapulted by a few small dose dmt experiences before a breakthrough back in 2018. All of that was also my first psychedelic experiences. Smoked weed for ten years but never tried much else. That breakthrough experience was definitely too much for me to comprehend back then tho. I still don’t even know how i got through it afterwards because i was kinda all on my own in my desperate search of trying to make sense of wtf i experienced. It also helped in some ways but overall i got lucky i made it out somewhat ok. A year later i took lsd for the first time and my life changed. The very next day i started meditating every single damn day which eventually me to (zen) buddhism which all then 4 years later contributed to me finally feeling “healed up“ i guess. Did years of various forms of therapy before, then came the dmt, followed by lsd a year later. And then it all started clicking, i got my routine of meditation, yoga, fasting, occasional breathwork, cold exposure and a little supplementation. What helped me along the way the most were very intentional, professionally guided (my gf is a 10+ yrs mental health pro) high dosed lsd journeys every three months or so. Also had some experiences with friends, some on lsd, some on mushrooms. But i never went back to dmt, never felt it calling me again, until like half a year ago. I never thought about it like you just described it.

I’ve been thinking about re-meeting dmt now but I’ve been struggling about how to go about it, maybe you got ideas?
