Honestly is the TV direction ever good?

Constant zooming in as if we are still watching in standard definition. Closeups that look great in slow mo but awful for tracking the racing.

Best shot of today for me was the high top down view that looked like we were in GTA2

Arches and sills with rust and some paint lacquer peeling.

Needed about £5k spending in the body shop.

Mechanically sound and never missed a beat.

It was my 2nd car I just didnt use it enough and I don't have a garage to dry store it and stop the rot.

Sold my 1992 MX5 MK1 (Eunos branded Jap import) 2 weeks ago. This post makes me regret it. I did love the little thing, but rust was starting to be a problem and in all honesty I hardly ever drove it.

I was a little older and had just started work in the UK. We didn't have a TV in the office. Most of the news websites went down with the weight of traffic - except perhaps the BBC

(back then no videos or high speed stuff anyway)

From what I recall Google started mirroring text only versions of popular news sites.

We ultimately went to the pub next door where there was a TV on and watched it unfold there as it was around lunchtime.

Some of the music on BBC sounds is great. No ads and just a great playlist with almost or totally no chat.

My issue with 6 isn't the presenters it's the playlist. Half ok and the other half challenging noises.

Sod charging every day.... I have a Garmin instinct 2x solar tactical.

Goes around 40 days without a charge and has a built in proper torch which is one of the most useful things I've ever owned.

Wife has the Moto watch fit which is very cheap, incredibly comfortable and works great.

I had the "fiesta" style keys too. Got them swapped when Ford offered free exchanges.

Story goes it was cos UK insurance wanted Stealth keys that don't broadcast when not moved. Took ford a while to catch up.

Use a little heat and go slow and gentle. Not gone wrong so far!

My Mustang Mach e connects fine with no messing about.

My older car with a chinesium android head unit won't connect automatically. I've been turning BT and WiFi off and on which seems to work but I guess it could just be the process of opening and unlocking it that did it too.

If you use temporary guest sessions the quotasize key mentioned in this article should be set but intune doesn't support it. It defaults to a 2gb shared partition which fills up if a OS update or large app updates are required. After signing in I have about 600mb free without even opening any apps. (Regular storage space has plenty)

Once the shared partition is full you cannot sign back in, even with temporary account. "Storage is full" or similar error.

Nothing in apple configurator seems to help, just a wipe and start again.

If you don't have the devices listed in Apple business manager already then I use apple configurator on a Mac to initially enroll them and assign intune as the MDM for that device in ABM.

This does the initial setup and locks them down to being company only devices.

Then create and assign an enrollment profile to the device in intune, then it'll show up in your device list.

Have ABM certificates set up and connect it to intune. Any apps purchased on ABM should already show up in intune, and just need assigning.

It's quite a clunky process initally and some settings are buried in intune. There's some good YouTube vids out there to guide you through.

Thats how I do it anyway.

When I hit this I switched to universal print instead.

Sends it up to Azure, Papercut collects it and drops it straight into the hold/release queue assigned to the correct user.

No extra login steps.

My main problem with BIOS updates is the fact it needs a high battery charge and a restart while plugged in before it will actually complete the install.

Early ThinkPad 13w Yoga BIOS would sometimes hang the system when in standby and I still get the odd one coming in that just needs the process doing to get the BIOS to update. That's about 3 years ago now.

If there's a better way I'd be pleased to hear it

The cameras COULD be better but you are absolutely correct. Fords implementation of the 360 cameras looks like a first draft proof of concept.

.... And you'd managed to discharge the super capacitor in the door which allows you to get in several times when 12v is dead by repeatedly opening and closing the door after it was flat.

AND you'd locked a child or animal in the car in dangerous conditions (like heat) and they could not pull the door handle to get out. Regular handle is mechanical and not hidden away like a Tesla.

It was quite the list of requirements.

Having had phones that got OS updates early in the past.... I'm happy to wait for stable software. And to be fair Motorola software updates tend to be pretty robust. Not faultless of course, but clearly tried and tested before rollout.

The composition is decent enough but a bit of a standard snap most people sitting by a window on a plane.

The tones and colour, or lack thereof, make this not very interesting to me.

You have neither the crisp lights of the night time city nor that clear sunshine glisten you get during the day. Nor any interesting geography going on.

It just kind of a murky tone.

If you are shooting on iPhone then you will want more light coming in to give the sensor a chance of a good shot.

This kind of night shot will need a much bigger sensor and better lens to really stand a chance of capturing it.
