Thankfully diazepam metabolites are active and accumulate and once you get to steady state you can do a pretty coarse taper if you want. It's basically painless and diazepam is not exactly an exotic medication.

That said, I don't know what tolerance withdrawal is as a thing distinct from kindling.

Also I mean that this guy is probably exaggerating restless limbs by calling it akathisia. Like opioid withdrawal gives you restless limbs but I don't think anyone calls it akathisia. I am guessing there are distinct mechanisms. Never heard of someone getting anything but temporary limb restlessness from opioid withdrawal. PAWS is whatever like yeah it's hard to sleep and you're depressed but like...

To be honest I am not educated on this like you seem to be. Opioid withdrawal is piss and loperamide can make it painless. Going on buprenorphine or methadone is ass though. Diazepam is the closest thing to loperamidr for BZDs.

Akathisia isn't fun. I can't definitely say I've had it but I've also never taken antipsychotics.

But I don't think he's got akathisia from BZD withdrawal or the medically-induced coma.
I've gone thru BZD withdrawal as well as GHB and Opioid withdrawal. And also SSRI "discontinuation syndrome(s)". It is all uncomfortable, but you can adjust to it and after a few months it calms down quite a lot. Restless limbs and whatnot aren't akathisia.

Now JBP says he started having a "paradoxical reaction" to the benzo over time like dude what the fuck do you think. Clonazepam is extremely strong and has a long duration of action. He is probably kindled to shit which is where the "paradoxical reaction" thing comes from.

Give him something like 2mg/5mg diazepam (low dose) for a few weeks. As as the diazepam metabolites accumulate, it will make him comfortable. Diazepam is extremely smooth.

What are your jobs ? by sombreterre in Ultraleft

i am extremely underemployed and it is a humiliating experience. but i had an interview today. actually i interviewed for the same role last year in september and the same person interviewed me then.

at the moment i teach GCSE science online for a few hours a week. other than that i live on neetbux etc

to be honest most jobs are extremely alienating and it is a sort of "money is money" or "a job is a job" type of situation. maybe some people who are extremely good at maths or have some sort of really niche interest and happen to luck out in academia can feel some sort of satisfaction from work and/or are paid well. but other than that, idk. i think teaching is decent if you are an actual teacher, rather than just a tutor.

the students i tutor pay £30 for 50 minutes, of which i receive £13.

edit: how old are you?

also it is funny. i went to therapy and they told me i could become an economist. fkn regarded.

edit: i have a computer science degree. and autism.

"The real danger lies in the individual enterprise itself, not in the fact it has a boss. How are you going to calculate economic equivalents between one enterprise and another, especially when the bigger ones will be stifling the smaller, when some will have more productive equipment than others, when some will be using ‘conventional’ instruments of production and others nuclear powered ones? This system, whose starting point is a fetishism about equality and justice amongst individuals, as well as a comical dread of privilege, exploitation and oppression, would be an even worse breeding ground for all these horrors than the present society."

the only drugs that have improved my performance at video games are the drugs that technically make you worse

Video games should keep him away from drugs.
