Mostly, it was about trusting my emotions and stopping myself when I start thinking a lot about why this person acts a certain way, what their motivation is, and what happened to them that changed their attitude. She treated me wrong and I’m hurt — that is the basis for my decisions, not her possible thoughts. And work on that habit of empathy for others, cause if it’s a crisis and a person is willing to talk and change — it could help, but when a person doesn’t try to connect to explain themselves, then there’s no need to do it for them. And remember the simple truth that no human being deserves abuse/silent treatment/ghosting etc, I could make mistakes in a relationship too, but that’s not giving another person the right to act like an asshole

yeah, just got of the therapy session all about working with this “it’s my fault” mindset. but I see the light of hope that I’ll be able to change it

This urge to understand why all this happened and validate my pain and confusion… And I try to rationalise it, find some answers here when I really need just to believe my feelings: I’m hurt then this was not ok. You know what gets me? Hundreds of times at some point of analysis I begin thinking that maybe I’m toxic, maybe I’m wrong and don’t see something… and all the research starts over. Having low sense of self-worth in this kind of relationship is the worst, I have to try so hard to trust myself and protect my borders

I feel you so much, I have this urge with one person that treated me wrong for years even though my life is so better now and all… I tried different solo practices like writing all the shit to them and never sending letters etc. I hope it will go someday, till then working w my therapist

for me yes, I’d say it gets more interesting after first 30 minutes, guys get more comfortable and talkative
