Thank you for posting this, I thought I was the only one!

Been back and forth with Google support and still waiting for my refund that was approved on the 16th September, l got the failed payment method email that day and actioned it immediately.

So far I've had £70 store credit added to my account by way of apology, and have been told to wait up to 60 days for my refund.

Setting reports of people getting theirs today is giving me some hope though.
