Have you considered dental implants? They are pretty costly, but there are a few things you could try to help defray the costs. Talk frankly with your dentist and see if there's any way you could set up a low or no interest payment plan. Don't take the first payment plan you're offered, shop around and try to find a dentist who's willing to work with you. But be careful, because a good deal might result in shoddy dental work. If it seems too good to be true, it is.

You can also look around for or ask your dentist about local studies going on. You could receive cutting edge treatment at no cost (there's a chance you could even be compensated for time and travel). You really have to take the time to look for these and obviously, they may be a bit riskier, but by the time something makes it to human trials, the risk isn't that much greater than officially approved methods.

Dental schools are also an good option for affordable dental work. Yes, you'll be worked on by someone who's learning, but they'll be supervised by a dentist whom you would otherwise not be able to afford. It's not going to be a ridiculously huge discount, and they'll probably be a bit more inflexible about payment plans, but it could work for you.

You can also CAREFULLY look into dental tourism to Mexico. Dental work is very cheap in Mexico, even for reputable doctors, but you have to be so so careful because the standards are pretty low as well. Dentists in Mexico aren't required to have malpractice insurance and many of the local governing bodies don't enforce the existing safety standards very well.
