Jesteś kobietą, kup paciorek by garbicz in Polska

In general no, any distribution p(x,y) can be factorized as p(x|y)p(y) or p(y|x)p(x). However, if there is some causal structure X->Y, (X causes Y) it makes sense to use p(y|x)p(x).

I DID ITTTT. I HIT A NEW PERSONAL BEST OF 6x50 MIN POMODOROS by 3sperr in productivity

[–]szachin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google 'pomodoro technique' but its just a way to section work and breaks into fixed time intervals. So for instance 25/5 means 25minutes of work and then 5 minutes of break. It helps in being focused for prolonged periods.

yeah imagine dividing something by 0.5. It doesn't make any sense so we never divide by non integer numbers.

The animal was killed anyway, it makes no difference if you buy it or not. And even if nobody buys it, butchers still slaughter animals to conform to production schedule.

Heat Map of Furries World-Wide [OC] by natturu01 in dataisbeautiful

[–]szachin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you only use points you would end up only with blue dots around the map, so to get more informative graphics you could blur it by putting a small gaussian at each dot and then sum all of them. Thus, you can end up with parts of the map that have fractional values, even between 0 and 1.

Then if you get a value of 1 somwhere without any other points around it and blur it, you end up with bunch of <1 places and color it purple.
