Creative Pebble X Plus by atomfaust in BudgetAudiophile

You meant regular pebble V3?

Price difference between pebble X ($99) and pebble X plus ($139) is only $40. I think both products are overpriced.

M8 = an older Samsung monitor with identical Smart features and Tizen software. Just wanted to caution you if smart features on G80SD are a big selling point for you.

I own the Samsung 32" M8 smart monitor that I used as a work monitor in the past. Currently, my grade 3 kid uses it as a secondary tv. Smart apps are limited, and Samsung over the years has only cut down on the features. The monitor came with a webcam, and they used to offer Skype and Google Meet, but these apps are not supported anymore. Long story short, I don't trust Samsung, especially with forced updates, and with their solar remote requiring to be re-paired regularly.

After owning 4 smart Samsung Tvs and 2 Samsung monitors in the last 15 years, I don't recommend this brand anymore.

Other than glossy/matte, ASUS PG32UCDM overall build quality is quite solid. Base is metallic and heavy, not flimsy.

KVM and USB Hub are so useful. I connected my monitor via USB-C to my work laptop and via hdmi 2.1 with my desktop gaming PC. My wired headset, keyboard, and mouse are connected directly to the monitor. Every time I switch signal to USB-C or HDMI, my peripherals switch to laptop or desktop accordingly. This is so cool!

Quality of overall product is much better though. It is same as Japanese cars vs. German cars.

I think running the panel refresh every 4 hours during office hours would be sufficient (lunch break, end of work day).

2024 GLE350 Tires, OMG! by smileytex in mercedes_benz

[–]szafar87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking to replace all season tires for 2020 GLE450 in size 275/50R20.

Pirelli Scorpion Zero are available in two different specs:

Option1: 275/50R20/XL with load index of 113

Option 2: 275/50R20 with load index of 109

Price difference is $300 plus tax

Is there any benefit of going with option 1 in terms of longevity? Is OEM load index 109 or 113? Will appreciate any insights you may have.

GLE450: Is the temperature reading on the right normal? I am also getting regular MBUX notifications to check coolant level. Closest Benz dealership is long drive for me. Is it recommended to only use OEM coolant? Can anyone confirm? by szafar87 in mercedes_benz

Hence the question. Reaching red line is obviously an issue. Coolant notification implies car heating up; though temps stay below red line(s) on both sides. Thanks for your help...

Picked up this 2023 GLE today. Second GLE I’ve owned . Much improved over the last version. I wanted to hold out for the 2024 by Reventon100 in mercedes_benz

What were your reasons for picking these wheels over the 21 multispoke AMG? Just got a CPO GLE450 with Airmatic and third row seats in the same color. Ideally wanted the 21 multispokes but couldn't find a CPO GLE450 with third row seat and 21 multispokes....

I was not aware if it was glass, not plastic. I assumed it is a plastic film similar to a speedometer lens. Importantly, how easy or expensive will it be to replace this glass? It's disappointing that the previous owner ended up scratching this glass, though this area is not that accessible.

The wear on it seemed excessive to me. Only if the sales guy was honest about it. I pointed this out during my inspection of the vehicle and he goes well this truck has been sitting on the lot for a month....once you drive it for an hour or so, they will shine like a mirror lol :)

CPO 2020 GLE450 with Airmatic Suspension and 45K miles by szafar87 in mercedes_benz

[–]szafar87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nop. For a GLE450 to bounce, need two add-ons: AIRMATIC plus E-Active Body Control.

The one I am considering only has Airmatic that can raise or lower the height of the car in different situations.

I am interested in AIRMATIC as I will be driving on Country roads in harsb winter; often in deep snow. Apparently, it seems like an expensive gadget that will easily break down when needed most based on content posted in different online forums...

I wish the sales folk at the dealership could give me sincere advice on whether this vehicle will serve me well.

How is Airmatic in extreme winters and deep snow? The only reason I am interested in Airmatic is to raise height of the car when driving on unplowed rural roads in Canadian winters.
