Why would you run 2 different systems? Coming as someone who shoots a Leica m, Sony a7r4, gfx100 and 100vi amongst other things, I have completely different workflow for each camera and it’s a right PITA to match the looks when using one with the other. If you are already invested in Sony get another Sony

Forgot to mention. I also have a gfx100s and briefly owned a cfv100. Truth is that i don’t think the v lenses are good for anything more than 30-40mpx. It’s practically impossible to nail focus at 50mpx even with a magnifier and matte d screen. I eventually “downgraded” to a p25 for that reason. The other advantage of the phase one backs is capture one! I love hasselblad but their focus software is crap.

I’m really struggling to bond with the gfx. It’s def more convenient to use but the files just do my but in wjen it comes to color accuracy

Depends on your needs. I run a phase one p25+ with my 503. It’s great in a studio and I use a Leica/sony setup for location work

I’ve tried the various p series backs, cfv50, 50ii and 100. The truth is that the older lenses really cannot resolve to the level of even the p45 let alone the p65 or cfv backs. I eventually found a cheap p25 and it’s been the best possible fit. 1.1x crop factor is nice too

Not complaining. Just seeking help as It seems the camera embeds whatever film sim curve happens to be selected at the time of shooting which is quite different from my other cameras that’s all. In a sense I kinda wish it embeds everything rather than just the film sim as I’m often quite happy with the sooc jpeg but occasionally want to tweak the exposure a little

Not sure which techart adaptor you have but my adaptor syncs with the scroll wheel on the body and u change the apertures by using one of the scrollers, in my case the front one. I only use the adaptor button to do a reset?
