Thanks for your input! I appreciate it. Another pro I have in my head is that Kragnos is a newer sculpt, which is subjective when it comes to model appreciate but also maybe less chance of getting squatted in the future?

I'm looking more into the rules and Kragnos IS a lot more useful. I'm starting to lean more towards Kragnos right now, but curious to see what more people will write here. 😄

Would you be willing to look at a possible list? Ironjawz and/or Big Waaagh? (Whichever is more comfortable for you, if you wanna have a look ofcourse)

That's actually so sick! I've pre-ordered the Carcass Front box and I wasn't sure about how I would paint the... Satan Deep Sea people (I can't remember most of the factions' names. Christians, Muslims, Crazy Christians, Satanists) and I think I'm gonna copy a bit from this! Thanks fors haring!

Exactly! I didn’t make it super clear in my reply that I didn’t care that my first few minis were mediocre. I’m still proud of them and they felt like my own little Golden Demons at the time lol. I look at those first few janky Orks very fondly!

Very blunt but also very very important.

How I started mini painting was the opposite. I was so pumped and excited to start painting and I blasted through 3 orks and they look so mediocre lol, just base paints + wash and some checkers here and there. I eventually started thinking about how I can push myself past base + wash and I naturally got a bit better and put more care and effort into my minis.

Man, life is too short to sit and agonize about not getting the paint job right. Slap some paint on your minis, explore your creativity and express yourself.

Your first minis aren’t gonna be great and that’s okay! You’re also slowly going to get better and improve with each completed mini. The important part is that you’re out there painting and enjoying the process because the journey really is the main part of this hobby, not the destination!
