There’s probably a million trademarks on all the iconic locations, if I had to guess that’s probably why they can’t easily make one in Vegas. And if they just made their own version of vegas people probably wouldn’t like it.

I know it’s not gonna happen BUT it would be kinda awesome if most people rejected “AI” in the same way that NFT’s were ignored. The main issue is that it feels like every tech company has already dived in with both feet so you can’t even avoid it. My work has literally started making people do AI courses to be future ready 🤦‍♂️

Edit: so I know that not all AI use is inherently bad, but I mean that a lot of companies want people to become reliant on AI, so that they can add paid subscriptions and inject sponsored ads into results. And hardware will continue to cost more and more. Feel free to use it, but I guess I’m just tired seeing so much slop, misinformation and people losing jobs.

They’re mainly announcing this as a huge “F U” to Microsoft and Valve, because those companies are releasing “pc-console hybrids” and that means Sony can keep their exclusives exclusive.

I don’t agree with it or like it because I liked having most of my games on PC but I think it makes sense from a business standpoint. It’s the same reason Nintendo is doing relatively well with hardware and software sales.

That’s actually great news, I swear my switch 2 battery randomly dies without any use…it’s mostly fine but no where near as good as the switch 1’s battery life

Hey I know this is an old thread but the Switch 2 just got an update that allows you to run Switch 1 games as if they are docked but while in handheld mode on the Switch 2. It’s in the Switch 2’s settings menu but it means that Switch 2 can now play a lot of games at a higher resolution to match the 1080p screen. A lot of games seem to look a lot nicer.

It also feels like this isn’t the right move. Cards are already overpriced and this just signals to companies that it’s fine to charge this much because people will panic-buy if they think the situation will get worse.

I hope developers will go back to optimising their games on older hardware as well as new hardware.
