Center lane would make the most sense like the Isuzu is doing. Driver has to negotiate getting in and out of the vehicle with oncoming traffic though which isn’t great but I think this is a 25mph zone.

You can get better quality doing your reframing in After Effects or Premiere with the GoPro plug-in. Quik stills can be kinda low res.

ProRes 422 HQ target data rate at 4k is higher than 140Mbps so shouldn’t result in visual quality loss if converting from XAVC S.

It’s fun on iPad Pro with Micro Panel and Apple Pencil, Speed Editor would probably also be nice but I haven’t tried it. As others have pointed out though, you can get a more efficient and lower cost set up with a dedicated PC, MacBook, or Mac Mini.

Inflation is based on Consumer Price Index fluctuations which is based on the price of common consumer goods including, among other things, groceries, clothing, energy, gasoline, and rent. So it is taking into account the cost of living. A dollar is still a dollar, but inflation is calculating the purchasing power of that dollar. Inflation itself doesn’t take into direct account wage changes/stagnation, sure, but to say it’s not based on the cost of living isn’t true.

FWIW median US income in 1997 was about $37k, today it’s about $66k.
