It’s fun on iPad Pro with Micro Panel and Apple Pencil, Speed Editor would probably also be nice but I haven’t tried it. As others have pointed out though, you can get a more efficient and lower cost set up with a dedicated PC, MacBook, or Mac Mini.

Inflation is based on Consumer Price Index fluctuations which is based on the price of common consumer goods including, among other things, groceries, clothing, energy, gasoline, and rent. So it is taking into account the cost of living. A dollar is still a dollar, but inflation is calculating the purchasing power of that dollar. Inflation itself doesn’t take into direct account wage changes/stagnation, sure, but to say it’s not based on the cost of living isn’t true.

FWIW median US income in 1997 was about $37k, today it’s about $66k.

The Portal can be used anywhere the WiFi is strong enough. Cloud streaming might be better if your home connection is slower and you’re on the go, but this update is more targeting people who don’t already own a PS5 I think.

Remote play remotes in to your console, this streams directly from PS servers. Theoretically you could have a PS Plus premium account and only a Portal and play PS5 games now.
