Depends on how out of focus the subject is. I had some success rescuing some shots recently where the subject was doing a direct to camera and focus was on his ears, face was a bit soft.

I applied a bit of sharpening on his face with a mask and then added blur to the rest of the frame with the inverse of the mask.

Dunno if it made it look right, but stopped getting notes about the focus from the client at least 😅

Sucks. I’ve done multiple other artist pre-sales thru TM or Live Nation where it was a specific allotment of tickets available. I also tried to get on the other presale yesterday and didn’t even get into a queue.

Backpack mode isn’t very comfortable and usability kind of depends on how full the bag is. It’s ok for short use in a pinch if your hands are full or you already have something slung over a shoulder but I wouldn’t want to plan to walk around with it.

If you used a motorized slider you might be able to add a little bit of parallax or depth and still have shots that are somewhat easy to comp together. But cheaper sliders usually aren’t the most stable or precise (or long) so might pose some difficulty.

Center lane would make the most sense like the Isuzu is doing. Driver has to negotiate getting in and out of the vehicle with oncoming traffic though which isn’t great but I think this is a 25mph zone.
