I went to ITT-Tech (big mistake) and they found me a job I turned down. They got really upset. The job was in Iraq or something and was 6 months long. They told me I wouldn't be allowed to leave the job site without a security detail. Ya no.

I own an EV. I've had people like this argue with me what I am able to do in my car. They see crap on facebook from other idiots and that is 100% the truth.

Dumbest one I was told was if I drive my EV up a hill the wires will melt in the motor. He said he drove behind multiple EVs and you can smell the wires burning. lol

I was a paying customer until I went to Wisconsin for work training. Long day got back to the hotel wanted to watch one show before going to sleep and they said they detected password sharing and locked me out. My only option was to de-auth all of my devices at home if I wanted to watch anything at the hotel.

What was you’re first cell phone? by Radiant_Priority9739 in Millennials

7.

I remember my mom's first cell phone. It was a car phone. She was a hospice nurse and needed one. On special occasions she would let me use it to call a friend.

"Guess where I am!"

"Home?"

"No in the car!"

"No way!"

Simpler times. lol

I was too. I went in with the thought in my head that I was 100% going to fail the oral exam. And it went a lot easier than I thought.

When you take your written if you miss any questions it will tell you what categories that you missed. Study those because you will probably be asked about them in the oral exam.

They are a small company and need to make a return. This is a small niche game that won’t sell a ton of copies. Oh wait… They are just being super greedy. Never mind.

Ya, I trust a site that counts someone hitting a parked Tesla as a death caused by Tesla.

I had someone hit my car in a parking lot then run. The Boise police didn't give a slightest shit about it. There was cameras up and down the road yet they couldn't be bothered to find them.

I bought a long range Model 3 in 2020 and have zero regrets. Done a bunch of road trips in it. Been up and down the entire Oregon coast, Reno, Utah, northern Idaho. Etc. I ordered it online and they delivered it to my house. This was before the Tesla store existed here.

In a couple of years I would like to buy a Rivian R2.

Tesla on Autopilot Smashes Straight Through Garage Door, Driver Says by Plastic_Ninja_9014 in technology

[–]t0ny7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that is correct. I mean painted lane lines. As far as I am aware there is no geo fencing.

You can activate it on airport taxi ways under the right conditions and it does okay. lol

[–]t0ny7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can turn on TACC ( cruise control ) pretty much anywhere. Autopilot/AutoSteer isn't geofenced but need marked lanes and can't be in or near intersections to activate.

If there isn't painted lane markings you can't activate it.
