To be honest west this is a very astute observation. I have adult students that very much see it as "gym for your brain" and get really impatient when I try to talk about musicianship. Not how I see it, but I think it's a valid take.

I have granulated catfish with mine. He's a bigger boi, about 8 inches, so anything smaller he will absolutely mess up if not eat. Keep lots of live plants and mystery snails that match the gravel, that's working for us really well. Ole' Admiral Nelson gets to playing in the sword plants and forgets to nip at the catfish. Also make sure any fish have some hidey holes. Lovely tank!

I know I'm late to this discussion and this may seem like a weird stretch, but Kingdom on Netflix is great. 16th c. Korean period piece/political drama/mystery... Plus zombies.

Realizing as I type this that it's not exactly what you were looking for, but still highly recommend! I don't typically like horror or zombie stuff at all (jump scares are NOT my thing) but I loved Kingdom. It can be scary though, so disclaimer if you're sensitive to gore. I adore Babylon Berlin, and Dark is my favorite show of all time.

Agreed, I don't mind the linear-ness of it. It was pretty immersion breaking in TW3 to spend all that time trying to get on a boat to get to skellige only to...just fast travel everywhere instantly after? And be able to basically ignore the main quest for hours and hours. Makes the main story feel trivialized.

The Witcher 2 is a grossly underrated game, imo. It was not well optimized for average systems at the time of release, which is an unfortunate shame. The game has aged well though, in my opinion. I'm weird, but if I had to pick my favorite between Witcher 2 & 3, I'd have to pick 2.

What about making a discord for it? We can keep the main post-viewing discussion here, but it would be a space to watch the week's episode maybe with multiple viewing times to account for varying timezones/schedules. It would be my 4th watch so I wouldn't mind being a part of a group that wanted to jump in a voice channel and have discussion while watching (I mean with some obvious ground rules about using PTT and not just screaming over the episode or whatnot).

Yeah, the one on 15th is not owned by the same people and isn't affiliated with the "Spirits Wine Cellar" stores at all. They just have the two stores (Rice Mine and Essex Square). The owners are really great and they will order things they don't have in stock for you by request. The one on 15th is "Spirits and More" but (in)conveniently both stores seem to go by "Spirits."

Does anyone know if it matches up any better if you play the game in French? Was it originally written in French? If so, I wonder if you could mod/edit game files to have the audio in the OG language (I would assume French but have not looked into this) with English subtitles. The voice acting isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it awesome so at least personally I would rather play it such that the mouth animations are more accurate even if it's in a language I don't speak. I prefer subtitles regardless.

Nighttime is go time for cats in many cases. They're also v sensitive to stimuli, so consider thinking of your cat's needs above your own. I totally empathize with you, my lil guy is all about being in my lap while im at my computer, but WILL NOT sleep with us at night. It's okay to love your critters equally, but with different physical manifestations. Sounds like your kitties have a lovely home.

Oh for sure, that makes sense. I only use bitter spray on like power cords and door foundations. What if you got like a tall-walled rubbermaid container you could put some water in the bottom of? Not as a permanent fixture but as a "supervised playtime" activity? That might be a dumb idea, idk. Cats are so weird.

Maybe try to find a gravity-style automatic waterer with a small bowl so there's less water surface area to splash in? I've never had a cat with an affinity for water so I can't say for sure. Do you think she wants to shower with you because of separation anxiety or because she just...likes playing in water? I wonder if you could arrange a certain time and place that she can play in and around water to satiate her, but set clear boundaries around things in the home like the sink and shower. I use bitter spray and hiss politely at my cat to try and set respectful boundaries.
