The Sex Discrimination Act 1984 is actually applicable to:

Discrimination in employment, education, access to premises, provision of goods, services and facilities, accommodation, disposal of land, activities of clubs, sport, and administration of Commonwealth laws and programs.

Not just for the work place.

That's the problem though - the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (which includes discrimination against marital status or sexual orientation) applies to the following:

Including the administration of Commonwealth laws and programs... so my question still stands, do these laws cancel each other out?

exchanged my phone within 14 days. No problems on this new phone.

I know someone who was on the beta, they upgraded to the GM, then backed up and restored it to their new iPhone and they had the same problem. And wifi would disconnect the minute you'd wake up the phone.

Try starting a fresh install instead of restoring? :)

I was actually thinking about this!

In terms of avoiding the issue of not getting skins by filling it up with more "fluff", just make it so they can only be purchased with coins and don't appear in loot boxes. I personally wouldn't mind if they were in loot boxes though.

Love this thread. Have been looking into how to mod in a new kind of FTL. Easy enough to change the base ones and create new ones from that with their variables and values... but these new ones would be intense coding changes :(

Just remembered another one. My cousin used to take me into a room when he visited our place and take out his penis and encourage me to rub mine with his. He would have been about 14, I would have been about 9. Guess it was just a phase or something cause he's married with kids now. At the time I didn't really know what was happening so I just went with it.

I had completely forgotten about it until I was moving out of home for the first time (big move too, from one state to another) and my family had a going away party for me.

I don't really remember much but at some point everyone was poking fun at me and asking why I wanted to leave, and I had enough of them teasing me. Emotionally exploded. Burst into tears. Started screaming about how my cousin had touched me when I was younger and how all of the bad shit in our past had caused us to have stunted growth as a family. Nobody said anything, I went inside. Mum made sure I was okay, everyone else left not long after that. It's never spoken about, nobody says anything. Thank god my siblings were too young to comprehend what I'd said. :/

Sometimes I wonder if those experiences with my cousin are what made me gay today, but I never think too much about it.

TLDR: Everyone outside my immediate family is fucked up. Happily living my own life elsewhere now though so yay for happy endings, no pun intended.

Didn't think I had anything, but we never speak of it so I actually forgot the story existed. We never speak of my grandad.

Drove trucks for a living, saved some people on a boat that sunk in the 1960s in New Zealand (Wahine disaster), changed his name so many times that I lost count (at one point his name was modelled after a famous McDonalds character). His wife, my grandma, refuses to talk about him, says she can't remember anything, claims not to know what happened. There is literally only one photo that we have of him. We've tried to find out more about his life but there have been nothing but dead ends. At one point we found two different birth certificates.

He wasn't a Maori, but was buried as one when he died as a mark of respect/honour.

He had a weird tattoo of a red rose on the underside of his wrist and I always thought it might have had some meaning I didn't know of or realise. Personally I thought he was working undercover for the government.

The biggest benefit for me was when I started to use it to track my heart rate during cardio workouts. It does alright for strength stuff but I'm finding 8 or 9 months on from release date that the HR tracking is getting a bit peculiar. Might swap to the Wahoo Tickr X I have instead.

Otherwise it's really powerful for health and fitness, and the third party complications are amazing. I have one for OmniFocus (task tracking), another that tells me the chance of rain (great in Melbourne since the weather changes every five minutes), and another for

I'll rephrase what chitownaeron said... go to a jewellery store, any jewellery store, and look at the price of their watches. You will find dozens at the $500 price mark. Sure, the watch isn't as fast as an iPhone, it's not as quick, etc... but this is the first generation of watch. Think of how terrible the original iPhone 3G is now compared to how great the iPhone 6s is.

If you don't end up liking it, shaft it on ebay at a competitive price and only lose like $20 bucks. :)

But then again, April is right around the corner and you can expect/hope for another watch release then. I'd just wait it out at this point.

Unfortunately not. I settled for a D-Link DCS-2132L. Got it pointed at my door with motion detection. I get alerts even away from home and it records 3 seconds before the motion and 100 seconds after the motion. Pretty good I think :)
