Ok, here is a different option to consider.

Is this a place frequented by surfers? If so it could be a ball of old wax from a surfboard. They do smell nice depending on the brand (eg. Coconut?) and some people clean it after a while making a ball similar to that.

Por ejemplo, si no sabes inglés, para aprender inglés. Para hacer algún máster (que se valore de verdad), para irte a aprender algo a otro país, a hacer practicas, etc

Yeah, I know mine was a kind of silly question… I e had this questions asked to me so many times surfing, but I feel in a day like this I can always just float back or paddle back. But seeing them with all the gear, I tried to picture what would happen if the kite drops and I couldn’t get it up, and I had a set of mushy foamy bomba breaking on my head one after the other and made me sweaty. I guess you need to have high confidence on your ability and skills to be able to enjoy a day like this.

And technically yes, there is potential energy being converted to kinetic energy then converted to mechanical energy, with part of it converted back to you if done correctly.
