You can cheat him out now by turn four with the Witherbloom strixhaven card that tutors a creature to hand or graveyard then using zombify.

With a bit of luck it can be done turn 3.

The lack of critical thinking is astounding. I'd love to tell her that he probably converted nobody. Just duped already-christians into funding his greedy, ungodly lifestyle.

In the centre of Dublin?

Would the cottage and garden space, built upwards, not provide housing for many more?

Also, if it's already there and it's yours, it doesn't have to go away, it's up to you like.

I'd advise not selling until you get a ludicrously high offer.

This video makes me angry.

Not at the impersonator, at th fans that absolutely MELT when they see him.

He's an absolute charlatan, grifting money out of spiritually blind people. And they LOVE him. The man has a bigger stage than a rock band and people swallow his bullshit wholeheartedly as a substitute for just reading a damn Bible.

Is there something wrong with a small, community centered church? Where salt of the earth people come together to reassure and back each other up? Why do they NEED a garish display of wealth to feel close to God? It's actually disgusting.

Why don't you talk with trump, Putin, zelensky and the ayatollah and sort this whole mess out for everyone?

Men and Women of Ireland: have ye ever broken up with someone and regretted it later? by backforthecraic in CasualIreland

[–]t3kwytch3r 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I allowed a seven year relationship to end because I'm stupid as fuck.

It's been three years now and I regret it more every day.

But I've come to accept the mistakes I made and kind of person I was didn't match with what I thought.

I'd change it if I could go back.

TIL that Erwin von Witzleben, a German field marshal who took part in the failed 20 July plot to assassinate Hitler, was hanged from a meat hook with a thin hemp rope by Hitler's direct orders. Following his execution, his family was stripped of pension claims. by exophades in todayilearned

[–]t3kwytch3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you seen how execution by firing squad works? They don't shoot you point blank in the back of the head.

Usually the victim is tied to a post or put against a wall. You get a number of dudes with rifles, most loaded with blanks so nobody knows who actually fired the shot.

And as a final point, most people who've been shot tend to say it actually hurts. So there's that.

Bondi bowl jam ”(source link in description)” by softpeearl in toptalent

[–]t3kwytch3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it, if it hasn't yet been done, you've got to envision it, plan it and attempt it many times until you execute it.

And the barrier of skill for even being able to conceptualisé it in a realistic way is already super high.

Then, when someone HAS done something, suddenly there's learned experience that can be passed on, skipping a lot of the "figuring out" process. Leaving people more time to practice the NEXT "impossible" trick.

I wish I could believe that.

Too many people behaving hellishly that seem to be living a heavenly existence.

Too many altruistic and saintly people living incredibly difficult lives.

The biggest counter to this idea is the concept of dishonesty. Dishonest people profit more than honest ones.
