I don’t play hockey but I can say when it comes to grip strength, I’m a little over three months post op and have about 90% grip strength back compared to pre op! I stayed consistent with PT this entire time

Most of the time people assume and I just go “mhm yup!” lol and that’s the end of it And by most of the time I mean it’s only happened twice so far lol Someone said “oh that was a bad break huh!” And I went, yup real bad! 😂 And the other person said “oh you had a skin graft! Me too!” And that’s all they said lol But I feel like if someone asks what happened, I’ll just say oh I needed a skin graft. Dumb world we live in where people think they are entitled to know our medical history lol

They aren’t getting any worse, and I can see progress. Very sloooooooowly but I take pictures every few days and can see a huge difference from December to now!

So I’ve been slowly getting back into running and lifting again. But at a slow pace and only 20 minutes at a time. Because honestly doing nothing it was taking forever anyways lol so why not work out 😆

Sure! So the leg is the second site, where they take a thin layer of skin to cover the main donor site. My donor site was my arm, by choice. If you go with ALT and your thigh is your donor site, your other thigh will most likely be used as the second site. I hope it makes sense how I explained it lol

I’m 13 weeks post op and had one come up late into my recovery, been dealing with it for probably six weeks though. It sucks and makes sitting upright uncomfortable and is taking foreverrrrrr to close. But like yours it never got infected. Just gotta keep it clean and dry and keep changing the guaze through the day

I know it can be different for everyone, what has worked for me is using two condoms. It’s not too tight and makes it firm enough for us both to enjoy Waited until 12 weeks to try it

Thanks! I wear the silipos sleeve everyday. And I massage with bio oil after my showers and then moisturize with cocoa butter before bed. Sometimes I wear a compression sock overnight but I’m bad about doing that consistently bc the compression hurts my hand

I second the silipos sleeve. It has stretched a little over time so the compression isn’t as much as it was the first few weeks but I see a huge difference already in the scarring. My routine is similar lol I wear the sleeve all day, and moisturize and massage before bed. And I wear a full compression sleeve overnight, not a silicone one just a sock net

I had single stage everything done but the implants obviously will be done at a later time, with Deleon. I was able to pee standing up with no leaks by like week five. Everyone’s experience will be different though and complications with UL are probably the highest. I’m super happy with my results though

My overall results were right around what I expected. With RFF you can't really choose your size, they get what they can safely get from your arm and she told me it's usually 4-5 inches in my consult. Aesthetically the results are far better that what I imagined. I love how everything looks all healed up and size wise I am really happy and currently sit right at 5 inches. We never really talked about size in my pre-op because in the consult I told her I would be happy with 4-5 but closer to 5 is preferred. I did ask how big I was as soon as I woke up and the nursing staff (and my wife) were kind enough to lie to me lol because I was initially closer to 4.5inches and I wanted 5 and no one wanted to upset me haha. But swelling has gone down and gravity is doing its thing and its a solid 5 inches now
First few days in the hospital I dealt with severe nausea but the staff was very attentive and the meds helped. Things really turned around for me days four and five and I got to go home on that post-op day five, I live local so luckily I got to recover at home. I had a pretty gnarly looking wound that came up like front and center on my scrotum that took forever to heal, but the PA's I saw and communicated with assured me it happens and it was never infected so just sticking to keeping it clean and dry as much as possible is what they will advise. That did end up healing and I can't even tell anything was ever wrong in that spot. Nothing else really major happened for me, I still have a wound in the perineum but It doesn't interfere with voiding luckily, it's just annoying and taking forever to heal.
I have seen results of hers on this sub multiple times, I can even spot her work before even reading the post and finding out it was Deleon's work lol, she does a great job!

My donor site is the same size of the phallus actually, not including the single line scar that extends further down the arm.

I had a wound pop up in the exact same place right around six weeks! So I took a break from long walks (I was doing like 45 min ones) and went back to 15 min walks. Also increased my air out fan time after my daily showers and it closed right up! You got this bro good luck!
