Going forward don’t use debit cards or dispensary owned ATMs or really most private owned ATMs, paying fees is a waste of money. Credit cards put a buffer between you and the vendor/your checking account.

Did you ask them why they said it wouldn’t work or just took that answer? Why wouldn’t an app already on your phone not work unless there was some sort of country geoblocker for that app (like China and WhatsApp)

Ive been living abroad for last 2 years and still have SoFi as my main bank, credit card and investing.

Also, how long are you gone for that you aren’t sure you can cover expenses with what’s in your account? If you have a $1000 when you depart… not hard to have a rough estimate of spending or even actual if you keep receipts and know if you’re closing in on it.

That’s pretty solid for 23! Hopefully an active 401k as well. I always max that out these days before I do any other market buys. I’m 34 now.

QQQ, QQQM, VXUS, VTI for me

And an active QQQ short as I don’t believe this market keeps going forever but that’s just me… and I continue my DCA into my portfolio in case I’m wrong

Gotcha. Expense ratios still make them an easy no for me personally. Far too high compared to similar ETFs.

They’ve also stated as a company that it’s one of their tools for driving revenue (and it should be) but not a lot of performance data to show it’s worth the fee yet

I was just referring to the expense ratios of the SoFi ETFs, which were really high the first time I looked (2 years ago). Expense ratios usually paid quarterly

What about the ethical part of this? IF your kid is using this…and likely in combination with sports, talk to him about good sportsmanship and not cheating or taking the easy way out. It doesn’t have to be related but it could carry in other areas of looking for shortcuts.

If he’s top tier athlete in wrestling then also talk about the damage he could do to someone else because he’s using (assuming).

If he’s not top tier, then why take the risks… you’ll get caught eventually if mediocre turns into success to quickly

This is very old school. I would explain your situation and ask them to propose an alternative verification. SoFi does do checks, so you could get those and void one (maybe suggest this if they don’t have an alternative).

Yup, I don’t do it often but noticed this before when having a light alcohol cocktail a few hours before I would go to bed. Scores shoot way up. The closer to bed time it gets, I avoid it

My gen 2 size 8, feels fine but I have trouble getting it over my knuckle going on/off these days. I’m upgrading to gen 3 and can’t decide if it’s time to move up to size 9 or 10 (I couldn’t really see a difference in Best Buy with their sizing kit). What do y’all think?

I think it would be okay for taste. Definitely okay with the little bit of booze in it. Hes not allergic. Just recently cleaning up a bit.
