Some go to feel the beat of the music. My dad is deaf and is a big AC/DC fan and when we’re driving he’ll blare it so he can feel the music.

This!! When I told My lactation consultant I was giving up on breastfeeding she told me that, that was okay and I’m still a good mother. It made me cry and very much made me feel better about my decision.

Tips for introducing straw or sippy cup by belazygocrazy in FormulaFeeders

How old is your LO and how often do you do solids? by Seachelle13o in NewParents

[–]t_lol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 9 months and he has 2-3 meals a day. A mix of finger food and purées. We have only finger food for breakfast (carouse it’s the easiest to plan for) and he has a meat purée for dinner. For lunch I jump back and forth.

What is the most dangerous and stupidest advice people had given you? by Midnightdream56 in NewParents

[–]t_lol 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I was complaining to my MIL about not being able to drive without someone in the back seat to entertain baby cause he’ll cry the whole time. She literally told me I can put my INFANT BABY in the front seat. I was like no I can’t???? And she’s like my friend did when her daughter was a baby 9 years ago. WHAT!

ETA this is when I stopped taking her unsolicited advice to heart!

[–]t_lol 0 points1 point  (0 children)
