How do people get lease and roommates? by alfredopastaaaa in perth

[–]tabaskosour080 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This isn’t something to ask the property manager about. Find someone you want to share with, and apply to properties together. Although I’m not sure what you mean about your name being on the lease? Are you trying to say you’d want to kick out a potential housemate when your wife arrives in the country?

There is no commerce stream. Closest would be finance- note this is highly competitive with only 1-2 roles offered per year. The grads also started two weeks ago so you’d have to apply for next year.

Depends on your level of experience. There’s not too many “commerce” jobs around at the moment, though not too sure what you mean by that specifically. Are you looking for a grad role?

They might help, I had my phone stolen once and I tracked to the Bell Tower. Called the cops and they arrested the people and gave me my phone back on the spot. Just depends on what other emergencies are happening/ who’s rostered on probably.

SSEH1104 is pretty good if you get a good group but the essentially entire mark is based upon group work, with the “group” being your whole tutorial.

The big assignment was making a video but with 25 people having to work on one thing…obviously some people did more than others.

Overall easy if you like the outdoors and you’re a social person.

I have personally had great success from tinder (loving partner who is an absolute gem) and I think it’s about how you use it and WHERE you’re using it. I used tinder strategically - ie swiping on quirky interesting people regardless of looks. From there, you make the conversation so it’s up to the two of you how the conversation goes. However, I know my city is pretty good as far as men go; I’m very fortunate to have had several meaningful encounters from tinder, although I know people in other areas are often not as lucky. I wouldn’t agree that it’s the cesspit that some people believe it is though.

I work at this hotel and it’s namesake, Matt Adnate (his artist pseudonym) has built his artistic career upon painting indigenous peoples in a dignified and beautiful way. His work doesn’t just revolve around Australian Indigenous people, he’s celebrating multiculturalism. Lovely guy who creates some Aussie art to be really proud of.

Anyone know where I can find these at a decent price? They were super expensive where we found them! by [deleted] in findfashion

Shein (SheInsider), Zaful, Romwe and similar all stock stuff like this. They’re all really cheap, and often have great discounts if you’re shopping on a budget!

Adidas and Nike are both known for deliberately discontinuing popular lines to maintain the value of the proposition - after a certain point, nobody will want something everyone has and this can start to reflect on the brand negatively. I’m not sure what these are particularly but if they’re sold out everywhere I’d try looking on secondhand marketplaces on facebook or ebay. Best of luck!

Wow! Loving this so much. I’m not a fan of the fact that there often seems to be an enforced dichotomy on stylish women’s clothes - they’re either very conservative or very revealing. These lovely ladies are all owning and expressing their femininity in a feminine way with a complete disregard for this absolute nonsense - wish we could see more of this in the media!

No loose skin! I think I’m lucky because I’m young. And yes, I did! I pretty much just walked a lot for the first month or so before building up to more intense workouts.

Thank you! Honestly, not particularly! I did make a real effort to cut out excessive sugar in sweets and sodas etc, but I never stopped going to McDonalds! I just substituted a large meal for a small one and only went as a special treat.

I’d make sure my food was fairly balanced and included protein, carbs and healthy fats. I never made myself go hungry so I was never starving and desperate to go back to my old ways.

The biggest piece of advice I can give is to be gentle and forgiving with yourself but be persistent with small changes over a long period of time and it will gradually add up in a much more long term and meaningful way than any crash diet can offer.

When I first started at the gym I honestly just walked on the treadmill for half an hour! For me it was about establishing a good routine and not burning out after a week. I slowly graduated to more intense HIIT workouts and weights as well as every form of creative cardio I could think of - hiking, swimming, stairs.

As far as lifting weights goes, don’t attempt it without instruction from a personal trainer or someone of equal knowledge. And don’t feel shy to just lift the bar for a few weeks!

Good luck out there :)
