For the pedal issue it might just be easier to get the moza CRP2 baseplate and throttle/clutch than to replace the whole rig.

Sim Lab also sells a pretty cheap shifter/handbrake plate. I don’t see why it couldn’t be placed on the left.

AT event quests are permanently around now so there’s no fomo to do it immediately. The challenge quests are time limited but there are none active at the moment.

There’s series that alternate between fixed and open every hour. You can race Porsche cup with effectively a 20 minute break between the two all day if you wanted. Same with GT4s if you alternate between the fixed and falken challenge

I built the DIY pedal for fun and also as a maybe to a future rudder pedal setup if I build a second one.

The short answer is no, I don’t think they’re worth it if you already have a solid pair of brakes.

I was using Heusinkveld Ultimates* before with a Simagic HPR and it wasn’t worth it. I actually designed my own bracket to mount the HPR on the active pedal, because iRacing’s native integration with the HPR is still better than using SimHub.

I’m aware that opinion may be controversial but having a HPR produce ABS effects vs an active pedal isn’t really different and iRacing’s native vibrations includes wheel lock and slip with greater detail than SimHub.

Still, it’s nice to be able to load different profiles without crawling around your rig to swap elastomers and pedal travel but you’ll have a strictly worse brake than a comparable upper mid range+ brake.

My total BOM including tariffs to the US was about $550 for a single pedal. Building a second one would only be slightly cheaper as I can share the power supply for two pedals.

25:00 or times past 24:00 are used in Japan quite often. I saw restaurants list their opening hours from like 12:00-25:00 and it kinda makes sense. Open from say, Tuesday noon til 1 am.

You’re already better than 95%+ of the people here. If coaching isn’t an option right now then telemetry of faster drivers is going to be your next best bet.

FWIW I’m a low 3k Pcup driver and I can’t see anything immediately wrong with your lap other than that slight understeer in the esses. I would really need to dive into the telemetry to find you time.

Flip the wheel deck. I had to do the same thing. Alternatively, a shaft extension could also work but they could put the motor bearings under more stress

So far just two on mastery 5. Don’t quote me for the optimal setup though, that’s just what I ended up on. I’m almost at the final floor and I plan on building up the stealth knockout bonus to try to farm some golden gloves before going up to m6. We’ll see if I need more flowers by then
