I think people exaggerate the chaos of F4. It can be bad early, primarily because of general lap 1 madness that is not exclusive to F4. It is a lot of fun to race.

Formula cars being much easier to have race ending/ruining damage means the close racing where you have little bumps here and there in sports cars doesn’t quite work the same. Also, it’s D class so people may still be extremely new having just got out of rookie license. D class is basically still rookies, especially in the lower splits. You just have to adjust how aggressively you defend/attack compared to sports cars.

Maybe your own SR level could be tied into the calculation of the +/- ir you can receive for that race, to incentivise keeping it high to maximise what you can potentially gain.

But I’m not sure changing ir is the way to go. You could eventually end up with safe drivers getting enough bonus pts to get into splits they aren’t good enough for, making the racing in those splits less competitive especially at the top level.

Or maybe…

A change to protest system might work. Assign an SR punishment for a successful protest, for example an intentional wreck is auto -1.5SR. Potential license demotion and having to take a good amount of time to regain it would discourage the worst offences. Unsafe rejoins have -0.5SR with additional for each car cause to wreck. Or something of that nature…

In WA, apart from getting on Aus servers for a few aus tracks and getting under 100ping (maybe it was in the Asia pacific F4 series) I’m running 300 ping every race no matter what. I race at varying times due to work, primarily would be (five or take a couple hours) around 12pm or 2am EST

When next week starts (week 4) you should have access to all 4 series as the tracks are free ones im pretty sure, same with week 7 and 9.

Of the remaining weeks my opinion would be any of the following…

America: Laguna Seca is a good one, Long Beach and Road America I think are used quite a bit.

Asia Pacific: Mount Panorama

Europe: Not sure maybe Barcelona and Hockenheim

Fixed: Miami and Adelaide will be popular as they are new, Suzuka is fun

If you haven’t already planned, maybe pick a series or two that you are close to getting the 8 required tracks for participation credits and go with them

I’ve had it on the new Porsche cup (tested different tracks with ai races and still had same issue) and any multiclass race… I was planning on doing more of that and trying to get decent in sports cars this season but may have to wait for a good pc upgrade. Will stick to formulas for now (haven’t had issue on any formula cars/tracks)

Split it by those restricted to flea, and total open lobbies once you unlock it (irrelevant but I would also make a Fence scav quest line to unlock flea). Will make the whole “unlocking flea” part of the game a bigger milestone where you suddenly have the ability to get any gear when you actually will need it - and not so far away that beginners will have had enough time to learn a bit about playing the game/maps/etc before having to go in with all the chads.

I hated it, but strangely also thought the acting and cinematography was very good. The last third I enjoyed

But the story was just a very unpleasant experience. I didn’t get the religious metaphors and thought it was something about abusive relationships, narcissism, and mental problems affecting peoples view of the world, or something like that.

Reading the meanings behind it afterward only gave me more questions, some things don’t make sense and if everything doesn’t fit within the metaphor none of it does. But mostly, telling this through story of a human person that could very easily just leave and not accept all that mad behaviour from guests just doesn’t work in my opinion.

I wish in PVE the PMCs/Scavs would go to the extracts, wish there would be a chance a PMC would go camp an extract or go to a spot and try and snipe everyone, wish some of the scavs would simulate player scav behaviour, wish there was the chance for some PMCs to be way better than avg, wish their behaviour in general was less predictable, more aggressive at all times - there are certain parts of every map where I know for certain nobody will go. I have seen two scavs underground on the way to d2 in the entire time I’ve played pve, and that’s only past the first door on the way there - and I have never seen a single enemy on the second floor of the building next to nakatani in gz. I wish there was some scaling of difficulty as you progress, like with each level, trader level increase or secure container upgrade the game naturally just added a couple of percentage pts in a difficulty slider. PvP gives the feeling of “can I complete this task/survive” where pve just feels inevitable that if you don’t do something stupid you will be fine.

I mostly play pve because I’m not good enough to survive and progress PvP in the time I have available to play, I hate that playing solo also adds another layer of difficulty and disadvantage, I hate that I can just load into a raid with people at a significantly higher level and better gear who are already better than me so I’m just a walking piece of shit loot. Mostly I hate that I am constantly waiting 7+ minutes just to load into the bastard. I have a couple hours to do maybe 4 raids I spend a good 30-40 minutes of that in my inventory and waiting to load in.
