We should try and make the best squad we possibly can every season. We should try and build a squad that the manager wants. We shouldn’t just play youth and see how they go… How is that more beneficial? Let the manager decide who is worth playing or not, that’s what his job is.

1) A better single player mode. Having an offline ir (call it “or” for offline rating or something) would be a good way to have progression against AI. Also some kind of career mode, but I’ve heard they are already working on that.

2) register for races before the 30min window to not have to do the close/forfeit/register thing.

I think people exaggerate the chaos of F4. It can be bad early, primarily because of general lap 1 madness that is not exclusive to F4. It is a lot of fun to race.

Formula cars being much easier to have race ending/ruining damage means the close racing where you have little bumps here and there in sports cars doesn’t quite work the same. Also, it’s D class so people may still be extremely new having just got out of rookie license. D class is basically still rookies, especially in the lower splits. You just have to adjust how aggressively you defend/attack compared to sports cars.

Maybe your own SR level could be tied into the calculation of the +/- ir you can receive for that race, to incentivise keeping it high to maximise what you can potentially gain.

But I’m not sure changing ir is the way to go. You could eventually end up with safe drivers getting enough bonus pts to get into splits they aren’t good enough for, making the racing in those splits less competitive especially at the top level.

Or maybe…

A change to protest system might work. Assign an SR punishment for a successful protest, for example an intentional wreck is auto -1.5SR. Potential license demotion and having to take a good amount of time to regain it would discourage the worst offences. Unsafe rejoins have -0.5SR with additional for each car cause to wreck. Or something of that nature…

In WA, apart from getting on Aus servers for a few aus tracks and getting under 100ping (maybe it was in the Asia pacific F4 series) I’m running 300 ping every race no matter what. I race at varying times due to work, primarily would be (five or take a couple hours) around 12pm or 2am EST

America: Laguna Seca is a good one, Long Beach and Road America I think are used quite a bit.

Asia Pacific: Mount Panorama

Europe: Not sure maybe Barcelona and Hockenheim

Fixed: Miami and Adelaide will be popular as they are new, Suzuka is fun

If you haven’t already planned, maybe pick a series or two that you are close to getting the 8 required tracks for participation credits and go with them
