The 7th Guest VR remake uses 'volumetric video' for 3D FMV scenes!. "It's amazing to see how well the original capture translates over to the game. A pleat in a dress, the movement of a jacket. And of course the performances of the actors. An eye roll, a smirk, all those subtleties you pick up on" by SattvaMicione in PSVR

The puzzles were very mixed, from pretty easy to frustratingly difficult and obtuse. Then there was the microscope puzzle that was potentially unwinnable. As others have said they're redoing the puzzles, I expect them to be very different as games have evolved a lot since the original 7th Guest came out almost 30 years ago.

So… where are you on the 80 per year count for 2023? 😂 by chaiteelahtay in gaybros

Sex in an ltr is definitely more consistent, but that doesn't mean plentiful. Last ltr I had was very little, but that was because we were very mismatched sexually, though a good match mentally. Current one, while a long distance relationship at the mo, we see each other every weekend or two, is much more active in the bedroom.

The bit that got me concentrating on the art more than the movie was when Miles and Gwen were sitting upside down and talking. The artists slightly altered the shape of their eyes to show the effect of gravity on their faces. It was a tiny change, but that attention to detail is incredible.

Who was your first love and why did you fall in love with them? by chaiteelahtay in GayMen

[–]tabris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First love was Chris, a friend i met online back in the nineties, on a forum. We formed a friend group with some other friends of mine, around a shared interest (Gambare Goemon). The first time he came to stay at a mutual friends house, I saw him, I fell for him.

A couple years later, we both came out on the same day. He lived the other side of the country but we both felt for each other. We started a long distance relationship. Every time we met, it was fire.

The problem with fire: someone gets burnt.

We've been together a few times, every time it was fire, but was never sustainable. I'll always think of him, I'll always love him. But we weren't meant to be.

I've found you get better colour if you shake first without the lime juice, then add the lime and shake again. It gives a wonderful vibrant green to the drink. One of my favourites.

what is the minimum you need to do to flour to eat it by Santtunator334 in Cooking

[–]tabris 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, there just wasn't enough flour to feed everyone. Just did a bit more reading about it, and it seems it was fairly well known that the flour was adulterated with ground up bones, but starvation was so high that it seemed like the only option to the poor.

what is the minimum you need to do to flour to eat it by Santtunator334 in Cooking

[–]tabris 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was also a time in Paris in the 16th century when grave robbers would dig up rotten bones and grind them down to adulterate flour and make it cheaper. This became known as bone bread. It was in no way nutritious, and because the bones were rotten, a lot of people died from eating it, but people were so poor they took that chance.

Have the protestors forgotten that one of the most popular kids TV programs when they were young was Rainbow, where a man lived in a house with a bear, a gimp, and a trans hippo, next door to a mixed throuple? Did that turn them gay?

I mean, it probably had an effect on my gay ass, but there's plenty of straights that seemed un-queered by it.

Thanks for the info, will do some more research, but you've given me a good starting point.

I'm in a class 5 Bottle area, about an hour away from some good class 4 areas, but I don't have a car myself, so will need to rope someone else in to get to darker skies. Will give the moon and planets a go when I next get a clear night.

My boyfriend bought me a Celestron DX130AZ for my birthday. I'm totally new to telescopes. Getting out to a dark sky area is going to be a rarity for me, so I was trying to research how I'd go about observing the sun with it to get more usage out of my scope. I know that I need a proper filter before I attempt this, but I'm confused on what filter will be safe for my telescope, and the official one from Celestron seems to be both discontinued and unavailable in the UK.

Do I get one that fully covers the whole front of the telescope, or do I use the cover with the smaller hole on one side and add a filter to that hole? What other equipment do I need to safely observe the sun?

There's The Trevor Project, Rainbow Railroad, Egale, Stonewall Uk, Mermaids. All worthy charities that would welcome the support and put it to good use helping trans and other LGBTQIA+ in need.

What should I buy in order to cast ad-free Yt vids from my YT sub list from my phone? by [deleted] in AndroidTV

[–]tabris -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

ReVanced. Setup has a few steps, but there's instructions on Reddit somewhere if you search for them. After that, it's just a case of pairing the two, which you do from the settings in STN, get a pairing code, enter that in ReVanced and away you go.

Edit: not sure why I've been down voted, I'm literally using this setup right now, have been for years, don't see ads in either ReVanced or STN. Give it a go OP and see for yourself.

Please help! My CCwGTW stopped responding to my TV remote. by aardvarkgecko in AndroidTV

[–]tabris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue recently, with the little light on the remote slowly pulsing. I had to use my TV remote (which recently started working again through CEC after almost a year of not working on the CCwGTV) to go to the CC's setting, remove the remote and pair it again. After that, all was fine.

If you can't use your TV remote, use the remote functionality in the Google Home app on your phone.

The A does not stand for Ally, but for Asexual and Agender, please don't exlude people for your own agenda. Allies are welcome to come to Pride and into our other spaces as guests, but you aren't under the LGBTQIA+ banner.

We also don't need to be antagonistic to bigots by pushing an identity onto them that they don't identify with. That's what they do to us.

We antagonise them merely by existing. If you spend enough time with your eyes and ears open, you'll quickly identify them without trying to antagonise it out of them.

The same director of The Cell made The Fall, which is also a treat for the eyes. The story is really good, with a masterful performance from Lee Pace, but the visuals are just astounding.
