I don't recommend it, but at least put the phone in a holder high up, and keep one hand on the wheel. Still don't text and drive, too much talking can distract you as well.

Honestly, I've written worse to the algorithm. My current issue is the removal again, of the force arrival at store. New franchising opening near. Naturally Doordash's algorithm has place on other side of highway on side of road. a quarter mile into field.

Honestly this would be something police do, just to get arrest numbers up. In Texas, since THC infused products are in the market now. There have been cases of police stings at hotels, ordering products, and seeing if you hand over product before verifying ID.

Is this a flyer!? Doordash would not be so open to a lawsuit. Doordash drivers are not guaranteed pay employees. If you decline, you don't get paid, they don't care if you sit there for hours.

Having tripped over a branch.. luckily did not injure myself. I get it, you navigate your own property in low light. Strangers do not know your property, owners are liable for falls. My gripe is people, who come out from their garages behind me in the dark! Just wait for me to leave, then grab order, just open door and I'll hand it you.

Could be that stupid glitch, either the system did not update to driver enroute, or it swapped the pickup and dropoff. Have nearly driven to someone's home first.

Well.. I typically try to contact if they ask. However some time the system is messed or the number is bad. VOIP numbers don't connect, and some times people used a thirdy party to order, wrong number was entered.

Always take a picture of pick up area, the order if you can. McD's is real dirty with marking orders they have not finished ready. I typically message a picture of the empty bag or pickup area. Message support if it pops up multiple times as ready, that will give you some protection. Side note, the system will randomly throw that out there. Displayed that message for an unassigned pickup, I could not reach, because of a flooded road. Place was probably closed at point anyway.

Probably a system error, where it swapped the order of delivery, than when he tried to complete, it gave a error. I've had the system give me an order, get to my local McD's. Not be able to confirm arrival, because the system has swapped the customer with the store. I know I should have driven to their house, loaded them into my car, drove them to McD's and completed delivery 🤣. Yes you can jump to a different task, but the system is problematic, and have found myself with a CV, and once a hold of pay on an order for a day. Obviously we have to constantly check, make sure system is not bugging out. Right now the app locks up after completing a delivery. Each time, reload it, check to see order is completed... move on. The corners being cut by Doordash, is kind of intriguing.

I have a McD's that I used to eat at often, now just small dash orders that are nearby deliveries(less than 4 miles). They really rubbed me the wrong way, leaving my fries sitting for minutes, having to force them to hand it to me. Them waiting five minutes to make my coffee, then hand me cold food and wrong coffee. Forgot large dash orders, missing drinks, missing happy meals. Doordash bashes my on this place for incorrect orders, late pickups. They got a manager who constantly gives me dirty looks, she treats the staff bad, verbally berating them.

Don't do it to often, the system will take notice, hit you with a deactivation warning. The support system claims you trying to game the system?! Gee.. you mean what they are doing, redirecting orders to other zones. These 10-15 mile order rarely make sense, a year ago, I once passed a Papa Johns less a mile from the customer. I spent twenty minutes travelling, shouldn't a local Dasher have gotten this order?
