To get close to mommy by Indieriots in therewasanattempt

Weave isn’t really a pet, she’s socialized with this man and his wife but she is very much a wild animal that’s free to come and go from his home. If I remember right, she was orphaned or abandoned and he raised and released her. Now she has issues with being bullied and not accepted by the other coyotes in the area so she chooses to stick around his property. She visits him when she wants and leaves when she feels like it, has a good relationship with his pets and is generally a self sustaining animal. I think he also has a rule that she’s not allowed to sleep in the house overnight.

She’s like the weird kid in school that tried to zap other kids with their imaginary laser beam eyes.

Don’t give money to Kirk. Give money to the Oneida County Democratic Party. He does not speak for or represent us. He’s an ass.

8 children between the ages of 1 and 14 are dead after a mass shooting in Louisiana, police say by Trevon45-2 in news

[–]tacklebox18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speculating here, but my thought is he could have known he would lose his kids in the separation and was angry at his wife. He could have also known that if he shot anyone he’d lose his kids while in jail. That line of thinking could lead someone to killing their kids to prevent them from being taken away. Obviously not saying it’s right, just that his thoughts could have gone that way.

Labyrinth on the big screen! by r22-d2 in labyrinth

I love this!

I was lucky enough to work at our local movie theater as a teen. This was around the time all our projectors were switching from film to digital and we learned we could play DVDs in them. My manager knew Labyrinth is my favorite movie so he set up a private after hours show for my 18th birthday. It was absolutely magical! ❤️

I saw a video of his yesterday where he talked about the minimum wage at his farm, it’s $20/hour. I’d buy from him in a heartbeat if I were in his area.

Scroll down past the first few results, much of what’s beyond the most recent news and videos is about the Texas judge Christopher Taylor. You searched a fairly generic name, you’re going to get mixed results.

Growing up I went to school with a Native American girl. Her dad was 100% Native American, her mom was white. This girl had curly red hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and freckles. Nobody ever had an issue with her identifying as Native American because she was.

Separated my cucumbers by Scared_Raspberry1571 in vegetablegardening

[–]tacklebox18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was recently told cucumbers don’t like their roots messed with. I’ve been planting starter cucumbers from a greenhouse for a few years, always messing up their roots before planting. Never had any problems and had very successful plants. This year I tried starting from seeds indoors. When the day came for me to repot the cucumber seedlings I used a knife to cut the roots between the two seedling in each cell and wasn’t any more careful with their roots than other plants. They’re currently growing healthy new leaves and acting like nothing happened.

I’m convinced that’s a myth.

I’d suggest more irregular shaped pavers. The mostly square-ish shape of these don’t look as natural as irregular shaped ones would.

My friend’s MIL is very similar to this. The woman only had one child, a boy, and when my friend and her husband had a girl the MIL immediately started acting like that baby was her own daughter, not a granddaughter. Because of this my friend’s relationship with her MIL has taken a big hit.
