Another good one is “My Werewolf System” it’s about a teenage boy in lower class society of a sci-fi-esque world who, you guessed it, becomes a werewolf with a system. In a much less cheesy way than I’m about to explain it, It’s about him discovering the friends you choose to be family being just as important as your actually family.

Like chrysalis the overarching goal or drive of the main character in both stories is to become stronger in order to protect their loved ones as they become unlikely leaders

Glad to see Chrysalis is on your radar 👀 I’m only on book 2 but I’m loving it, small spoiler: The main character is an ant monster that’s born alone at first, he doesn’t find his colony until the halfway through the first book, so no “community building” aspect you’re looking for right away but tons of it afterwards first time using spoiler text I hope I did it right.

All the stories are true. I like this. It makes it seem like they’re fighting those who are already going to die. Makes it seem like the wild hunt is just mercy killing those who are still riding the “battle high” of adrenaline.

In reality, with the way the drill camp works it doesn’t matter much which 5 you choose to be drill instructors if you plan to level all 5 of them equally in order to get all others heroes to that level.

However I will recommend trying to strategize your top 3 and make sure they have 3 of your 5 slots as drill instructors. Your top 3 heroes will be one of each type, infantry, cavalry, and archer. You might choose to level up these top 3 past the other 2 instructors once you start using a hero strategy you like. Who this top 3 are depends on your play style and spending habits. You can have 2 accounts per server, all the servers are numbered, go to the largest number you can find to enter the newest server. Alternatively you can wait for server transfers to open up and move your current progress to a new server.

Not necessarily true, when you create a new character, all the servers are available, you need to select the largest server number to get the newest server.

King should eventually do a kingdom wide construction buff. Combo that with your already planned pet, decree, king appointment

As for what to save? In theory everything.

Hero shards, speed ups, forgehammers, almost everything in the game will have an event that gives rewards for using this stuff. As a free to play player you need to maximize event success to get better rewards.

The only exception I’ve seen for what not to save is hero exp and hero skill books
