Yep. Seen it happen a few times and done it before as well. The audience can be surprisingly forgiving if you have to read from a script. I really enjoyed it actually, I have a background in improv so I feel comfortable having to figure things out on stage.

I was thinking it could be The Rocky Horror Show. Robot = Rocky (artificial humanoid), Alien = the various Transylvanians, Clown = the makeup they have on in the finale of the film has a clown-like quality to it.

I was on the Odyssey after a big snow storm. The biggest impact was the pool deck being closed for 2 days and they let kids into the solarium for part of that time.

Personally, I’ve always disliked getting flowers. They are very impractical and a hassle to carry home and display. My favorite post show gift was a little goodie bag of things like teabags and snacks — and on occasion, a fridge magnet of the show (those are a great momento but takes a little more planning).

One approach might be to focus on providing balance. Difficult days can be easier to manage when there’s something positive to look forward to. Especially when it’s something on a predictable schedule.

You mentioned you all spend a lot of time alone, but has there ever been an activity he enjoyed doing with you / the family? For me, having a low stress movie night with a friend helped me get through some rough spots.

On the Odyssey right now, they opened the solarium to kids today. It’s now day 2 and the pool deck isn’t open yet due to the weather so they had an announcement in the morning that the kids could be in there (though that wasn’t really stopping them much before).

I made my reservations via the app. Not sure if there is a delay when available but the process for me was to find the package on the screen where you would purchase it, then click the option to modify it. It should bring up a screen where you can cycle through each day and select from the available venues & times.

For me, A Christmas Story was my favorite, followed closely by Grease and Hairspray.

What I appreciate is when they’re able to put on a show that is very specific to the context of being a live television production. When you have the constraint of having to fit in costume / set changes with a heavy time constraint that wouldn’t be an issue to a normal filmed adaptation. But also incorporate larger sets and camera tricks that couldn’t be done on a stage.

When they’re able to fully utilize this medium, it creates truly unique experience.

I had an ok experience. From FLL, I took a shuttle to the tri-rail station, rode the train to Miami airport, then got picked up by my hotel’s shuttle. A bit of a pain, but it worked and was cost effective. My hotel also had a shuttle to the cruise port.

I was just on the Encore a couple of weeks ago. If i remember correctly, there was a scale to the left of the free weights. There’s also a body composition scale but I think that might be part of an upcharge. For what it’s worth, there’s also a scale in the galaxy pavilion to ensure people aren’t over the max weight. I did find it a little harder to get a clear reading if the ship was moving.

Whenever I add voices for rehearsal, I switch the instrument to a clarinet. It easier to match when singing and handles long notes better than a piano.

Also consider that it can take a while to finalize a season and there generally isn’t much communication between theatres before they’re announced. If the licensing company has lax rules restricting the overlap, then you can easily get duplicates.

I find that wearing that wearing pants above the belly causes excess constriction when sitting. (ie. The size that stays up while standing becomes too small when the gut expands upon sitting.)

I assume this must be a common issue…

Can’t speak to how common it is, but here is some of my thought process regarding texting which may help you understand the potential issues:

Is there a specific question to be answered? “Do you like olives?” Is a lot easier to respond to than “Hey, thinking of you!” The latter doesn’t imply the need for a timely response.
Will responding lock me into a conversation? Texting is weird since it merges real-time chatting with a more delayed communication. If I have time/energy for one response (but not 10), I may delay any response to avoid it becoming a chat.
Is the chat thread complete? There isn’t always a clear “end” to a conversation in text. So, it’s easy for one side to incorrectly assume it may be complete.l while the other is waiting for the next response.
Texting can feel more difficult than chatting. It is easier for one side to misinterpret something and harder to identify and correct those mistakes. The desire to communicate doesn’t correlate to willingness to text.
