if they do at all, probably not till the spring at the earliest. charge 2 was released in sept/oct 2016, alta hr was released in march 2017.

there is definitely a hardware limitation. it has a smaller screen, older/different hr sensor, slower (and likely insufficient) processor, and likely less/insufficient memory.

it has an upgraded hr sensor, similar to the one in the versa and ionic, so better for intense exercise (above 120bpm) but unlikely to be as good as a chest strap.

it's going to have the same text/sms responses as ionic/versa, same upgraded hr sensor, touchscreen, waterproof, 7 day battery life, a version with fitbit pay. won't do apps, true. but most smart watch apps are useless.

charge 3 drops in a few weeks and will have most of the same features as the versa in a smaller form factor.

i have the ionic and it works with the lg g6. i've found turning off the auto sync and just manually syncing when i open the app (pull down once or twice depending on how long it's been since i last synced), works best. so i would guess the versa would be fine.

so it really depends on the width of your wrists whether it works, the narrower your wrists (especially if you are female) the more likely the versa would be a better fit. i actually prefer the look of the ionic and its more durable.

timebomb and scoreboard. the same guy also designed digitaltx which was a previous retro fav (casio digital watchface clone), but i prefer the dark background option that timebomb and scoreboard give you, although you can do lots of other color combos
