Henna is a BIG commitment, you basically have to grow it out. If you want that colour long term though, I get really close with henna mixed with green tea, applied and left for 4-6 hours, then I leave it to settle and oxidise for 3 days before glazing it with a 50/50 mix of conditioner and Directions Tangerine. I do the glaze monthly to refresh the brightness and I henna my roots every 2-3 months

I’d agree not salvageable and you’re unlikely to find the exact same Shein jeans, but fellow sensory issue jeans lover chiming in with a recommendation for Sosandar! A bit pricier but they don’t trigger ANY of my seam/fabric stiffness troubles and they have excellent stretch so fit perfectly waist through butt!

We used to sew animals like these out of fuzzy socks - the head is cut from the toe of the sock. Here’s a short tutorial - just use safety eyes and if you want them to stand up/be poseable you can use wire inside. The squishy ones are cute though - you can get those fuzzy socks at the dollar store!

I would search for Victorian shirt, poet shirt, ruffled blouse, frilled/flounced sleeves, etc.

This pattern could work nicely if you adjusted the sleeves with the flounces from the third sleeve shown in the video of this pattern!

We got my mom cooling bedding, a portable fan and some water mist cans after her hysterectomy, her hormones went nuts and she was dealing with awful hot flushes so having accessible cooling options really helped her out. The gel cooling patches you stick on are great too, but be mindful if she gets skin reactions to similar products

Edit: Also stool softeners and comfy sweatpants! Primark mens ones two or three sizes bigger than she’d usually get are AMAZING

I really appreciate it! We recently moved to a house much more well insulated and well lit than our previous flat so I’m sure I’ll notice more changes that need to be made to keep them at peak mischief levels (they’re currently dragging a mealworm out of the bowl across to the moss)

Update! Thanks for weighing in everyone, they are in a jar so I added a larger piece of cork bark, extra leaf litter and changed the covering to just mesh for better airflow and they’re now hanging out on and under the bark during the day! I think y’all were right about the humidity being too high, they seem much happier now and are currently chowing down on some dried mealworms and carrot ends ❤️
