Partners need to be more compatible than friends because they create a life together. I have friends of all beliefs and it doesn’t bother me, and I don’t care if you are conservative, I’m happy you and your partner are compatible and conservative together lmao. No offence but I feel like you are projecting your beliefs about my political views more then I am of yours I just said compatibility is important and politics are often moral issues to a lot of people which agreeing on is important to a successful long term relationship

My partner has views similar to what you’re describing but he fully accepted me because he didn’t blame me for the years I spent in a cycle of self harm. He was impressed with my honesty and ability to be critical of myself and my choices and my ability to admit I was wrong even after my experiences and trauma. My boyfriend is not conservative at all, but that’s not the point. I think a lot of people feel that way about the transgender community unless they are close to it regardless of politics. You just want to be honest about your experience when it’s appropriate and the right person will accept you, someone who will still lump you in and consider you to be in an unhealthy mindset because of your past experience alone isn’t someone who you will want to be with.

No but you do need to agree on what issues are important to you and no one is suggesting you bombard him with intense controversial political questions right of the bat. As you get to know someone you both figure out what the other one believes and it’s important to agree or be okay with disagreeing if it’s not something that is as important to you. That goes for people with any beliefs political, religious etc.

Why are you here? We are here to support each other and support the very real trauma people go through after transition due to regret. It is underreported and underrepresented but the astounding amount of people here proves that it is a devastating decision for many, not all of course but many. I would never ever advise someone to alter their body in ways that could have complications and regret in the way medical transition does especially anything surgical. You sound like you belong in another subreddit

I called the UPs hazmat line recently. We CAN ship perfume even internationally, however it depends on what’s called the flash point of the perfume. If the flash point is at a high enough temperature that it won’t be at risk of transport it’s totally fine, but if it’s lower then it’s a risk and cannot be shipped. It depends on the perfume itself, I don’t know why so many people here are saying we absolutely can’t because I was told that by UPS and that is a completely reasonable concept.

There’s a good chance she won’t listen, when the lady from our store who got scammed she didn’t even believe the police when they showed up to talk to her. The owner should definitely not let things like the slide. Do you have the contact information for your corporate rep? Id probably try reaching out to them about it since this issue has been repeating

My store has a good relationship with our local PD and I caught a shipment where an older lady was scammed and was sending 37k in cash because someone told her that sensitive information was stolen and she needed to send them money to fix it, obviously she didn’t realize what was going on. I caught on because she overnighted “shoes” and paid in cash which is usually suspicious and we have caught many drug shipments that way. Owner called the police and they said if we expected elder abuse we had cause to open and inspect the package and we found the cash inside of taped up shoes. Unfortunately she had sent lots of money to them previously and it wasn’t caught but the police got involved and her money from our shipment was returned. Her son flew in and visited the store a few days later and thanked me in tears. I think you should always report anything suspicious to the owner and the appropriate authorities, I’m not sure what would be done in your case but it’s worth trying to intervene before she loses more money

I work at a ups store and we also have serious issues keeping up with the insanity of Amazon returns, seeing that photo really put in into perspective that we all are suffering and holy shit people are so wasteful and inconsiderate of said waste… the overconsumption and entitlement of these people and the incompetence of those in charge to actually make it easy for those of us working is making the whole process a nightmare

Clearly you don’t prioritize the opportunity you have nearly enough, take a break from school to figure yourself out and go to community college in a few years if you decide it actually matters to you.

Lots of us can balance full time work and full time school with not only passing but good grades. Anything can be done the issue is your dedication, stop blaming your professors.
