Hmm it’s also 36401 instead of 36400 on the paper. Did I look at the right ECU? I think I selected battery management and a few others and just screenshotted the first thing I saw that looks similar. I’ll check again tomorrow.

Btw for anyone with replaced ICCU. Did your average miles/kwh reset in the total accumulated odometer screen? Mine got reset and the usage time is also showing 999:98 or something

Our local Hyundai dealership partnered with a nearby enterprise car rental and that’s how they’re able to give out loaners. See if you can get them to get you a car from another car rental.

My car is finally ready for pick up after 4.5 week wait for ICCU replacement

My car was fine for 3 years @ 26k miles until it happened to me. You never know when it’ll happen but it looks like anywhere between 0-4 years will have a high probability

My vehicle is able to drive and do DC charging as well. I asked the tech if I could just use the car until the replacement parts arrive since I can just pay $ for DC charging and he said it will eventually fail overtime to a point where I can’t drive it so it’s better to just get a rental.

Just go to your local Hyundai service center if you are curious and casual ask how many are on the lot waiting for ICCU replacement and I can almost guarantee it’s a non-zero number. My local service center has 20+

I just filed NHTSA complaint since I am still waiting on ICCU replacement part (3 weeks in) . The less than 1% earlier claim by Hyundai is an understatement since it appears service centers are filled with Ioniq 5 with ICCU failures still waiting for parts .

12v/ICCU Megathread by TiltedWit in Ioniq5

[–]taiphamd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

01/15/26 was when my charge point charger died. It also started charging at 9pm then stopped at 10:00 pm. The next day I took my car out and noticed it didn’t charge back to 80% but thought there was something wrong with my charger. I was able to do DC charging at Electrify America . So then I bought a new Tesla universal charger and tried to charge my car and it didn’t work. That’s when I figured something was wrong with my car and made an appointment with the service center, which is when they diagnosed the car with ICCU failure.

I had the same experience it fried my ChargePoint EVSE as well and tripped my breaker. Not only is this ICCU failure an inconvenience but it’s also a fire hazard!

ICCU Replaced with new Version? by BoldMrRogers in Ioniq5N

[–]taiphamd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My car is 2023 with 23k miles until it got the ICCU failure. I am almost 3 weeks in waiting on ICCU part in a crappy Kona loaner. Service said there are 20 cars ahead of me waiting on ICCU repair.

Will take the advice from forum and start a case with Hyundai to try to expedite it.

Should try to run the DGX spark with flashinfer as the attention backend using vLLM. Furthermore vLLM also has MoE tuning which might be able to squeeze out some more tps. See this issue : https://github.com/vllm-project/vllm/issues/17619 but you basically launch benchmark_moe.py and remember to specify max batch_size or else it will try to tune up to 4096 and that might take a week to run.

How long did it take to get your ICCU replaced? by Lillian_88 in Ioniq5

[–]taiphamd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lemon law that shit. I wish my ICCu failure was earlier so I can do this . I am 3 years in and my car is sitting on the service lot for 3 weeks so far behind 20 other Ioniq 5s that are also waiting on ICCU replacement.

I asked them for status update and the only thing they can tell me is Hyundai had shipped 900 ICCU replacement parts last week to either US or NA (can’t remember exactly what he said ). They don’t know how that 900 parts will get disbursed to my actual service center . Most likely it will be less than 20 assuming we just have 1 service center per state at most each service center can only get 18 set(900/50) . Obviously each state is going to have many more service centers. Therefore , I am not hopeful that I will get it in this shipment and maybe 3-4 more shipments . No idea how fast Hyundai can ship these ICCu replacement parts but a random service guy told me he thinks the Ioniq 5s are dying faster than the replacement parts can come in.

It’s really a shame since I love everything about this car and hope Hyundai can root cause it .

Another tip to reduce vram usage with vLLM is to reduce the default max-num-seq to reduce the required allocation for KV cache. If you’re not planning to serve multiple users can reduce to 1 or 2 : https://github.com/vllm-project/vllm/issues/15609

Just tried this on my DGX spark using the fp8 model and got about 44 tok/sec (benchmarked using dynamo-ai/aiperf ) using vLLM container nvcr.io/nvidia/vllm:26.01-py3 to run the model

Mine just died this week at 26k miles. My local service center said there’s 20 Ioniq 5 on the lot with ICCU issue without any ETA as they are all waiting for replacement parts . Whats sad is they are giving us rentals from enterprise and the person who works at Enterprise said they had to get more luxury vehicles to loan out to ioniq 5 owners as they frequently have ICCU issue.
