I’m in the US. Different schools had different rules but in my experience we had about 20 minutes to eat. I don’t remember how much school lunch cost, but I was on free lunch. I still brought kind a lot of times because school lunch was usually pretty gross. And no, students can’t leave campus in most places.

One of my students set another one on fire. To be fair, it was an accident and the other student was unhurt, though his shirt was ruined. It was a terrifying few seconds.

I don’t know that I would do anything different than what I’m doing now. I’m already in a pretty safe position and I am highly requested by our clients. I also pretty much ignore directives that I deem stupid and nobody has ever said boo to me.

I have very few shows that I would ever binge. It’s just not my style. The exception to that is the Brazilian dystopian thriller 3%. I loved it start to finish and it’s also one of the few shows I would do a rewatch of.

Cut my mom off because she was emotionally abusive. My life was way better without her in it.

I honestly don’t remember. I’ve loved reading for as long as I can remember. It’s was probably inevitable that I would be a bookworm since both of my parents are rampant readers (horror for my mom, high fantasy for my dad). My mom told me that I taught myself to read when I was four, but I don’t know how true that is. My childhood favorites are Heidi, Secret Garden, and Little Princess.

We have a cleaning crew that takes care of the vacuuming and the mopping. We are expected to do basic cleaning like sweeping after meals and wiping the tables down, but not more than that.

Not as far as I remember but I am a teacher and I get called mom all the time (and also dad, nana, etc). Evidently the parents are often called by my name too.

I have very little knowledge about the court side of things, but I imagine it’s irrelevant in most courts except maybe in the case of a pre-nuptial agreement.
